Headless Horseman loot: The final totals

Just finished up my last set of summons. Here are the numbers:

14 summons a day, 11 of which got to double-up on the first day. Total summons for the 2 weeks: 207

Headless Horseman Mount: 2 (got them on the same day, within 3 summons of each other, around day 8)
Horseman's Helm: 10
Horseman's Sword: 12
Brooms, Squashlings, Hallowed Helms, rings: Too many to count.

And thats all she wrote! I'll probably have double the amount of summons next year, and unless they add the rumored Valentine's Day boss, we wont see another Holiday Boss until Midsummer :(

Ya I got one mount and did it everyday on two teams plus a few alts. So count yourself lucky!

Wow, crazy. Yeah, according to wowhead its a .3% drop rate, so I guess I did beat the odds.

I guess its my punishment for getting 4 White Hawkstriders after 45 runs of Magister's Terrace :)

Well my totals are in: 10 summons a day X 14 days minus 2 wipes= 138 successfull summons

8 of 10 toons got sinister calling so about 20 pets and 8 helms

16 plate helms

6 swords

and 0 mounts :eek:

so no kodos or hh mounts --god i hate RNG :mad:

20 toons x 14 days + the extra breadcrumbs summons = ~300 summons

I stopped counting on the helms and swords. The ones who could use them got them, and I scored a few shards out of it. 13/20 got Sinister Calling, the ones who didn't were ones who got brought in for just their summons...I know I was deleting a lot of squashlings and helms.

1 mount on my husband's team, 2 on mine.

So glad that's over with.

On the plus side, got The Hallowed on 2 teams (couldn't be bothered grinding it on a 3rd) and got the two caster rings for each toon in lock team that I'm levelling (now at 70).

I got fed up of farming for it myself and sold my summons the last 3 days and made close to 14k. Sure enough I sell my summons and someone gets it. lol.

I ended up w/ the title on the 6 I was going for.....summoned the mount 2x's.....had to pass on both, wasn't able to tank HH myslef, so I had to contract out and that was the price. NP thoughm, the title was what I was looking for.

Interestingly enough it was my single boxed priest that scored both summons.

1 dps helmet, 1 sword, eventually enough pets and cloth helms. Brooms and rings mostly.

I was doing 22 summons a day for an entire week, before I got tired of it. The main reason being I knew even if the mount did drop, I'd only have a 1/3rd chance of getting it. (I was not healing or tanking the fights - still not to that point with my newbie teams).

So I just sort of got sick of it. I think we all did, honestly. The healer burned out, too.

So no mount for me, but I did get sinister calling on 11 or 12 characters, which will be cool for costume purposes, as I like to dress up my characters silly every now and then and go parading around.

Even without it, though. I'm still up to 88 mounts with a few more that are easily-accessible.

ROFL I'm 3/5 White Hawkstriders in less than 20 runs, I didn't see the Horseman's mount >.< WTT hawkstrider for HH mount kkthks :_)

So yeah mount drop rate is horrible, I think I might of seen it drop once last year and some one else go it, or maybe it was a dream I had about it dropping ><

I got one mount from Brewfest on my main, my friend wanted to go with me to see if he could get the mount but only logged on like 2 times during the whole event, he is working on his 50th mount and is itching to get it. Tried Timed CoT and he died a bunch of times and lagged offline twice it was frustrating. He finally got back online and we finished the instance, time ran out so.... no mount. He wants to try it again, waited on him all day yesterday and he got on later on in the evening but said nothing.

- 3 helms
- multiple rings, brooms, pets & pumpkins

2HH mounts dropped, first 2 consecutive summons. I think they programmed it on a certain time. :)

i only did this on my warrior. i got my squashling think 2nd time through, melee ring, and my helm. idk how many times i saw that goddamn caster ring. i gave up after the first week and stopped going.
