need help with Flame shock lava burst combo and my alts

Ok I use Isboxer and use FTL targeting. I use /castsequence [nomod] reset=3/target Flame Shock, Lava Burst
My problem is when I swtich targets and instantly cast my macro my alts cast flame shock on the last target then switch targets and then cant cast anything on the new target untill the flame shock is off cooldown again.

But if i switch targets and wait like 600 ms and smash the macro it works right.
I always in the heat of the battle will just start spamming keys and forget to wait the 600 ms so i get all 4 lava burst to go at once.
Anyone know how to fix this?

The only way to "fix" it, unfortunately, is to wait a little bit.

What's happening is that, when you switch targets on your main, that information has to go to the server, and then back down to all of your slaves. When we play all of these accounts together, we tend to think they should react together. But when the server gets involved, there's lag there, and there's no solution other than modifying your play style to accommodate.

The flame shock loss is important, obviously, so what I usually do is switch targets, cast LB or chain lit, then FS->LB.

This is why using focus for your instant kill target is so important. The slaves dont have to assist, they already have the focus target, so there is no waiting.

Sit at the training dummies and hit this macro while cycling targets you can really see the delay. Sometimes all 4 of my slaves will re-target quickly while other times some find the new target while others are on the old.

I am thinking about going focus myself to get around this. It would be good to see what other folks are doing.

For pvp, you're probably better off with each spell on its own key.
That way, your Flame Shock key won't do anything but Flame Shock.

Alternatively, you can set a focus for all of your shammies.
And have your kill button something like:
