Last night I sold my summons for the HHM and got 3750g.. I was in IF selling my summons for 1000g a piece they keep everything that drops..I would 4 man it for them and they could help if they wanted or just dance on teh fountain. I was looking to take advantage of last minute folks trying to get their achievements with the pets and helms or who just wanted another shot at the HHM without having to roll against everyone else. Figured there would be folks that have more gold then they know what to do with. I was laughed at of course in trade chat but it didn't bother me. It was worth a shot.
After about 45 minutes of advertising I wound up selling them at 750g a piece. I was very sad cuz on the 4th summons the HHM mount did drop. He wound up bringing in an alt to do the last summons. So on the 5 runs 2 brooms, 3 squashlings, 1 sword, 1 mount, 1 epic helm.
Gonna try again tonight. Just thought I should share.

Lol. Yeah I shot big because I could always lower my price if needed. I got the idea from my coworker who said he would pay for the extra chances if he still played. Then again he was a mount collector and an achievement junky so he was willing to do so. I figured their have to be a few of those around.
I didn't really expect anyone to really pay 1000g but it was worth a try. And I definately got alot of laughs from folks in trade chat. But like the AH, the stuff people are willing to pay for these days is crazy.
Edit: Also out of frustration that I wasn't getting the drops that I wanted due to bad RNG. Also I like having everyone in my team have the same items and mounts.
Hmm I'm gonna try that later after work. I was lucky enough to have 2 mounts in a row (1st and 2nd summon) this morning and I was like ZOMG I will go out and buy lotto ticket today! I only summon HH 5 times a day so I was really happy. So people will go for 750g.. hmm interesting indeed

lol 2 in a row.. almost as bad as Khatovar getting 3 between her and her husband. Geez.. Gratz though. I think it's funny that after i resigned from thinking I could get it myself it drops for someone else.

Just thought I would come back and share what I earned these last 3 days of selling my summons.
I sold 15 summons (9 to the same guy who got a mount the first night I sold him summons) and made a crazy 13700g. I can't believe it. last night I couldn't sell the summons for more than 600 a piece.. but tonight I hit jackpot. lol. I sold him 4 of my 5 summons at 1500g a piece.. and the last one I sold to someone else for 950g.
These last 2 nights didn't get any mounts but got 6 plate helms and 2 swords. Had I known I could earn this much, I probably would have done it during brewfest as well.

Yeah i got a lot of laughs and even some name calling but I get that as it is for being a multiboxer. It doesn't bother me anymore but it got annoying when people would comment so much that my trade chat would just fly making my adverts get missed. Even if you find 1 person it makes it worth it.
The guy I sold 9 summons too was definately a collector as he showed me his alar, rocket, and anzu mounts. Lol pretty sure he would have showed me more if I didn't leave.

Fair market value varies drastically from one person to another, even on the same server.
It's nice for us, when there are people who have more gold then they know what to do with.
