For anyone who doesn't know this already or is new I thought I would share this shortcut that you can bind to a key
/shortcut # /invite ;target
# is the location of the shortcut on your toolbar.
To see where the locations are that you can use go to options and then keymapping, and then just scroll down untill you start to see open locations and then you can pick one.
After that then you just pick a key on your keyboard to assign it too and your all set. No more right mouse clicks and menus, just target and hit your invite key.
Also this is stored server side so you never have to worry about losing it unless you delete it intentionally.
Hope this helps someone.

I am looking to 6 box LOTRO but I was wondering if there was any kind of /assist function? I can't seem to find one. How do you manage targetting?

There is, lotro allows skill target forwarding. You just target the main character and any attack skill you use is forwarded to the masters target and the slaves will nuke away while any beneficial skill you use on the master is done on the master.

Frost is correct, This option is disabled by default. To enable it, go to options, then combat options and then about 1/3 of th way down you should find it.

If your characters are stacked on top of each other, and you would have to separate each one before you can click to invite him, then you can simply press "O" and find your characters in your friends list (if you have added them). Then just click on each name and hit the "Invite" button in the friends folder.

What I do is use my formation button to split my characters up when first logging in, Then I use my Num 8 which is what I have set to do my invite shortcut. Thanks to that, can be running in under 30 seconds from the time that the last character loads in.

G15 with string macros works good to, basically the same thing but saves quickslot space.....

I use IS Boxer to send keystroke actions with the lettres of my charnames.
So I need 2 steps to invite 1 char:
e.g.
step 1: "enter" / i n v i t e "space" "charname"
step 2: "enter"
Needs two steps 'cos you can't send "enter" twice in one step.
Setting up takes a little time but it's worth the effort.
cheers, M.

Sorry guys,
new to all the multiboxing wonderment,I was just wondering, I have seen on a youtube demo, and mention here, that you can get your avatars into formation. I belive the one on youtube was an inverted V can anyone please tell me how to issue this command, I am looking at using isboxer, but as yet have not installed it as the LOTRO server is down for weekly maintenance.
I did buy ******** but its not compatible with LOTRO even after the update.
thanks again for the time to read this short post.
