I was thinking today, what would be the Pros and Cons of these 2 set-ups. You have your 2 computers with WoW in each one, and then 2 WoWs open on one computer. Obviously with the 2 computers you can cast and control both windows at the same time, but on one machine you don't have to worry about switching to your 2nd mouse, plus you can freely move the person and very quickly.

This is actually not an easy question to answer because there are quite a few variables here. Synergy, Multibox, Modified Synergy, Hardware KVMs, Hardware Multicasters, etc make it not very cut and dry.

It also depends on costs, your play style, desire for quick reaction times, your desk's physical layout, etc.

I would encourage you to read up about the various options and experiment around a bit then form your own opinion as to which setup works best for you.

In general, one computer, one screen and autohotkey is the cheapest way to go. It is also by default the least flexible and less scalable. Some of the flexibility can be re-added - but that requires scripting, etc.

I was testing both ways out (2 screens on one computer, and using synergy with keybroadcasting on (i always get my screen to spin if I use the mouse even when I followed the howto to make it stop)).

I was just wondering what other people were trying just to see how they do it. I personally like 2 games on 1 screen just because I can freely reposition my characters without having to switch to another computer, plus my eyes don't have to travel as far.
