Have they fixed the authenticator issue when logging in multiple accounts at the same time with battlenet accounts?
I haven't upgraded due to this bug, i just log in with username/pw for each account but my auth code works fine on all accounts the first try.

I haven't upgraded either, but I'm thinking of opening up multiple google email accounts, one for each one.

No, they have not.

I've created five brand new email address with my service provider.
I then created five new B.Net accounts, using the email addresses as account names.
Blizzard sent the confirmation email for the first four immediately.
Due to spam protection or something, the 5th email had to wait a day for it to receive a confirmation email.
So you wouldn't want to wait until the last day to do this.
I have not actually added any of my game accounts to the B.Net accounts yet.
No real reason not to, but the game works as is, and I could care less about a non-combat pet.
Going with 5 B.Net accounts, means losing all the new functionality of merging all the accounts together.
It also means, one authenticator code can get all accounts into the game at once.
On the off chance that one code will become valid for only one log in, even across multiple B.net accounts, I've ordered more authenticators.
In the event that this never occurs, they're fairly cheap.
If they were to do this, then with PiP swaps and 5 authenticators, one could get into the game in 30-60 seconds.
Which still beats a 30 second delay which you cannot ever get rid of (while still using the authenticator), per account beyond the first.

ive been doing it for about a month now, havent had any issues. i think some people forget that the generated code can only be used ONCE per b.net account, and not once across all accounts. idk if this is the case, but its the only issue i ran into with it.
besides, even if there is occasional issues, youre gonna have to do it anyways. that or find a new game to waste your time playing...

i think the best way is to link alll ur accounts, under one battlenet, so they have the same password, then turn on repeating w/e software u use.. type in the password that u use, shaazamm (to much work for a authenticator), just keep ur computer safe

I use an authenticator with my battle net accounts and it is a bit slower to log in. However, I prefer the extra safety.

Well, going five B.net accounts, and one authenticator.
Versus one B.net account and an authenticator.
The security is not any different.
It is still one code, which once used is no good anymore.
The only differences I can see are:
a) You can use the one code on 5 B.Net's at once.
b) You lose all the new features of integrated account management.

Once you have merged a wow account with a b.net account can you then move it to another b.net account?
Because if thats the case, then I will create 4 new email addresses and create 4 new b.net accounts and transfer a wow account to each of them.

that's not a bad idea, anyone know if you can move an account from Bnet account (A) to Bnet accont (B) at will?

what does one b-net account buy you?
Does it get you free character transfers between accounts?
if it doesn't give you free transfers there really isn't any feature other than getting a blizcon pet... which I don't think I'll ever make it to a blizcon.

I'd imagine you could transfer between battle net accounts, by contacting wow billing.
Multiple accounts on one B.Net account gets you:
- Much faster transfers between your own accounts, that are all on that B.Net account. You still pay the same price as before.
- The ability to switch from one account to another, within account management via a drop down menu.
- In the future, your friends list will be tied to your B.Net account, so you can chat with friends who are playing StarCraft II, while you're in WoW.
- You can set a new secret question for the B.Net account, even if you don't remember the secret question for the wow account.

When they first offered the option to switch to using b.net account, I switch my three accounts over to it. I haven't boxed in about 2 weeks, but the 1 authenticator I used worked fine for all three accounts at the same time, was this authenticator change something new?
Overall, I'm waiting for them to look more into the option of allowing BoA items transferable between accounts under the same B.Net account.

I cannot say it will or will not happen.
But I'd be surprised if you could trade BoA's across accounts.
Even within the same B.Net group.
The authenticator change was with the most recent patch.
Pretty much the time they announced B.Net merges will become mandatory soon.
Separate B.Net accounts lets you enter game via one authenticator.
And still have all the protection of an authenticator.
Essentially choosing quick entry to the game and the current account management options, over the new B.Net account features.
Merging gives you the 30 second debuff (per account beyond the first) - Delayed Entry to Game.
But then you get all the good stuff they wish to implement for B.Net accounts.

I'm not sure it buys you a lot right now, but they've been talking about future advantages. For example, they've mentioned that they might make it so heirloom items can be sent to any wow account in your bnet account. Things like that.

I have the same problem as everyone else has with the authenticator, but for me it seems to be
different. I used 3 diffrent b.net accounts and then it stopped working with logging on with one code
from the authenticator, I needed a new code for every account.
I thought the problem was 3 accounts so I merged all my wow accounts to one b.net account and it
worked for me for 1 week then the same problem occured again....problem is I dont want to stop
using the authenticator but it´s a bitch to login everytime when you need to enter 3 different codes.

I have 5 B.Net accounts, each with one WoW account.
The same authenticator is associated with each.
I log in, with one password broadcast and then one authenticator code broadcast.
My extra authenticators have arrived.
So I now have 5 authenticators.
Hopefully 1 retains the ability to log all accounts in at once.
I like to get all accounts in fast.
If they move towards 1 code is good for only 1 account.
I will be able to password and authenticator one account.
PiP swap and repeat.
Probably into the game under a minute with five accounts.
Still more of a hassle then the current time/effort.
But that will be better then an imposed 30 second cooldown after each account logs in.
