I want to start a melee Group and ask myself..is a Deathknight Tank + 4 Retris Pala doable in Heroics?
And what do more DPS ..retri or Deathknight?

with enough gear you can run heroics with 4 rets + any tank, 5 rets, 5 DK's. A single decked out DK has even solo'ed some heroics. it's all possible.
I can't say which does the most, when both DPS the difference isn't much from what I've seen.

Yeah it's definately doable. It will be a rough start as DK's take alot more spike damage than say a pally/prot warrior but once you get past that it will be just as easy if not better cuz now your tank can put up really good dps to go along with the rets.

Definitely want to plan (http://elitistjerks.com/f72/t46054-pre_raid_dk_tank_gear/) that gear out for the DK. I sense a lot of odd low 70 items staying with you for a while.

Is there any advantage to take the Retri Palas over the Deathknight? 6 Deathknight vs. 1 DK+4 Retri ? I thought a Retripala can do much more Damage than a Deathknight...but maybe the buble and the Auras are more powerfull.

That's interesting I would think that DK with icy talons would be better for 4 rets, but you would be the person that would know for sure.

When you're geared, most heroics bosses can be dropped in 20-30 seconds. As long as your tank can handle not being healed for say 25 seconds, which is do-able, any combination of DPS will work.
The problem is - you do heroics to get gear, not the other way around. With Pallies, at least you could respec one Holy if you're having a hard time with 4x deeps?
