How long did it take you to get all the gold?

I have been saving the titansteel mats for a long time ( casually ) And i sold a shit load of runed orbs ( bought from badges ) and epic gems from honor. I also sold a ton of enchanting mats and the new drums you can make. Once i set my mind to it, I think about two weeks to make 30k. I had 30 k saved already. I also leveled an Eng from zero to max in one day ( cost me 2.5k )

BTW..you will see a guild pick of 15 Bikes soon, two of my guild mates are almost done with 5 each as well! We will do a Bike rally and ride across the continents for fun when they are done getting theirs!

dang that is sweet! I hear those things are like 20k to make with all the time and mats you need for it. Sucks if you ask me, if you make that per toon might as well just buy 3 traveling Tundra mammoths.

i'm working on my 4th bike and I think Targ is close to having all 5 as well.

it's going to be a vulgar display of wealth when we have all 15 bikes riding around Dalaran.

One of my toons has a bike. I ride in real life myself and can appreciate the feeling you get when you ride with a bunch of folks. When I ride with 4 of my RL friends in game it just feels cool.

Its 3 of you guys right? 3 5 boxers or something of the sort?

what if you have toon5 follow toon4 and have him follow toon3 and have him follow toon2 ... and him the main.
then you 3 can ride next to each other..
that would work, I guess.

Is it a fixed cost of 20k? I've always heard that exact number thrown out since the expansion came out. Certainly those old mats are worth a lot less now?

I think its 12.5k on vendor bought mats alone.

with the rest of mats you can get yourself, such as bolts or titansteels.. or you can buy them from AH or friends.
I made one but it was a long time ago but i had all the "Other" mats in the bank so it didn't feel so bad.

Havent heard anything on them lowering the price of the Vendor bought mats.

Yea there are three of us, we have chain follow macros.

So after taking the photos we took a tour around Dalaran a few times.

Really got the place rocking :)


The vendor mats are 12.5K, plus 12 titansteel Bars, 40 Cobalt bolts, 2 Arctic Furs.

we are thinking of having a northend cross country bike ride.
it was fun riding around dalaran using the train setup ( a follows b follows c, etc )
