Hey,
I'm moving my team from Horde to Alliance side in a few hours and got some questions in that regard:
First of all, Im aware the cost will be 45 euros, and that I will first need to server transfer and then to faction change.

The argent tournament quests will be reset from what I read? Does this mean I must start it all over again as a valiant? I curious about this part as it will make it easy to grind reps with the big cities.

And, what races should I pick? I really love the look on my 1x UD male priest leader and 4x UD female mages - Its my favorite race/gender setup, I will probably transfer back to this at some point in time.

One of the options of transferring are 1x Night Elf priest + 4x Human female mages - I may even make the elf priest a female since I like the look of them with a robe.
Im not doing arenas at all but I am mostly playing PvP (in battlegrounds or world pvp meeting stone ganking), Im thinking the human racial is good but I only need 1x countermeasure to fear and I get that from the trinket anyway. So I am not required to roll human because of racial.

Help me decide! What would you change into, and why? :)

Male Dwarf Priest and 4 Female Draenei mages.
Why? Dwarves are the only Alliance race with a personality (in other words you don't have to pretend to like anyone), and Draenei fit nicely into the alien hive-mind look that 4 mages will present. He can say he adopted them during Children's Week and they grew up so fast.

Oh and nobody likes Gnomes, Humans are just upright hairless apes, and nobody likes donkey-eared mailbox dancers (you could've stayed in Silvermoon instead of paying 45 Euro if you wanted to see that)

There was an article on their site, which basically showed which faction level changes to which other.
The only factions which were lost (not converted) were two Burning Crusade ones, where the other faction had no equivalent.

Your current reputation with your own racial city will be the same level with that of your chosen new race on the other faction.
The other reps with your factions cities become the reps with the opposite factions other races.
Things like your honor with Honor Hold and Horde Thrallmar swap etc.

If you ever racial change back, you automatically go to your starting races.
There is no choice of what you end up with on your own faction.

As far as appearance goes, Draenei females are far and away the hottest.
Night Elves are decent, and humans are ok.
A lot of people like gnomes, because they're so small.

As far as racials go from a pvp point of view.
Gnome has escape artist, which is potentially the strongest.
The human has the pvp trinket as a racial, except that you might want a battlemaster trinket which shares the same cooldown anyway. Humans get a 10% boost to faction gains, which can be very huge as far as reputation goes.
Draenei get 1% hit and an instant cast HoT, which scales somewhat with your level.
Night Elves have Shadow Meld, which can be decent at times.

In general from a pvp perspective, horde racials blow alliance racials away.

I'm on Outland server now and have faction changes pending, cant wait to try out my new alliance racials :P

Ill make the mages draenei females, and the priest probably draenei male or night elf male.
