I have been trolling around hellfire when I see people taking towers hoping for 80s, I've been testing the waters with multiboxing world PvP. Doom Lord Kazzak wouldn't STFU, so I went and shut him up, and walked away with 2 epics for my 69 priest once he hits 70.

So I was doing the Hallows End stuff, got to the point where I needed to do the GNERD Rage achievement. 50 HKs with the GNERD buff. I'm not as cool as you guys to have my setup where I can easily PvP, and since I'm a huge care bear I only ran solo, but when I got to my DK, I came across this, it was rather amusing, but ultimately caused us to lose the match, 5 Resto druids.

spent the weekend boosting my last 2 druids to 55 (RAF leftovers) - almost have a full team of 60 druids that I want to run BG's and everything else with - they look SO fun.

What's it like in BG's with 5 trees? Last time I did warsong gulch with my 5 shamans, i got rolled hard was was the sole cause of our loss ... i was thinking I could make a difference with 5 trees just healing the rest ...

Maybe there wouldn't be any boxer hate if I went all resto and healed ... It's gotta be almost impossible to kill someone with rolling HOT's from 5 tree's.

We ended up losing that match since the 5 druids wouldn't go offense with us. They weren't boxed, just solo players. If you could manage self healing + group healing easily, i think 5 restos would be pretty crazy. Maybe not in WSG where it comes down to you may actually be a hindrance to the success.

I read another post of a boxer who was going 5x Resto Druids.
And then using Magma totems for AoE, as they just healed each other.
This I believe was for Arena against cleave type teams.

I have 5x Discipline Priests at 60th from RAF.
Haven't leveled them since, but thought they'd be a change of pace in AV's, healing from the back.
Pain Suppression on round robin etc.

My 5x Boomkin team is fun.
Even though they're not Resto, 5x Rejuvenation and 5x Regrowth on a toon makes them almost immune to damage.
Down the road with 5x Lifebloom's ticking away as well, will be even more sickeningly fun.

Disc Priests can Mind Flay, Mind Blast, SW: Pain, Devouring Plague, Holy Fire and Smite.
Resto Shammies can Flame Shock, Lava Burst, Chain Lightning, Purge etc.
Resto Druids cannot use their Balance spells in Tree form, which is a major strength of the spec.

Still as far as keeping one person alive, it would be very strong.
I'd personally lean towards a healer spec that has some dps options too.

This I believe was for Arena against cleave type teams.I think you mean 5 resto shamans (resto druids don't get totems) ... think you will have major troubles in arena going all healers. AOE is too strong to heal through from my experience. I respecced all my priests disc for arena and bg's and tried a few arena games and 10/15man BG's ... got utterly wiped. My gear isn't great, but there is simply not enough burst or sustained damage to be effective in arenas or BG's with 5 priests (unless your only healing AV). Disc priests can't mind flay unless you spec for it, but i think you're giving up pain suppression if you do.

My shamans tend to do better in BGs (not arena) as elemental, but still have troubles with more than 1 cleave. AOE shaman heal can't out-heal 2+ enemy AOE fire ...

My priests were actually pretty good as shadow - 5x mind sear can wipe their entire raid at belinda (even when i cast from outside the room) if they don't catch you in time, but are generally very squishy and run OOM all the time (having to shift out of shadow to heal) - very fun though.

I've almost got my last 2 druids (at lvl 55) caught up to my other 3 druids at 60, and plan to go resto on all of them for AV initially ... totally agree on the survivability of a resto druid - although I would like to hear from others on how well 5x druids do in BG's (not just AV).

Ya, meant Resto Shaman's not Druids.

You can easily hit Penance, the last ability in Disc, and take Mind Flay, which only requires 11 points into Shadow.
Basically you can go 51/x/20, or 50/x/21.
Still, 11 pts into Shadow means no more then 60 pts in Disc, which has so many talents that look nice.

I believe my Disc spec is usually Disc/Holy, with nothing in Shadow.
But a team of priests needs some dps too, hence the 11 pts in Shadow.

The team hasn't leveled beyond 60th yet, and was the 4th or 5th set to 60th during RAF.
Pretty much won't expect much from them outside of AV's.
And honestly, they're not much of a priority at the moment.

I have Pally + 4x Shammies.
Working on mixed team (Priest, Mage, Druid, Shaman, Warlock) in the mid 70's.
Working on 5x Druids in the low 60's.
Working on 5x Warlocks (horde side) in single digits.

Have 5x Hunters and 5x Priests at 60th, but no plans to level either anytime soon.
