Hello all I am pretty knew to boxing and I've started using ISBoxer. I have one question.

How do I get characters in ISBoxer to stop following my main character?

I have a simple 2 character setup of healer and tank/dps. I want to with one key be able to have my character follow me and then if I press the key again stop following me. How do I achieve this goal with the current software being used?

I've discovered how to get them to follow using the ctrl+F key but is there an alternative stop key to stop a character from following you? Any help would be appreciated. As stated above I am very much a n00b here.

You need to bind a movement key to your slave. There is no way to macro movement or stop-follow. What I do is have my arrow keys bound only to my slaves, so I can turn/move them independently from my main.

What Siea said.

On all my slaves, i have "q" set as step right, or left (2 of each). When I want to drop them into position (they're all casters), I just hit "q". Viola, instant formation. You can then spread them out further by setting "w" to step on just two, and two of them will take a further step, and then you have a nice line. There's a good article somewhere on here on formations, see if you can find it.

Also, put "/assist target" in your rotation macros, that way you can have follow bound seperately, you'll have more control over what your slave does.

I make mine a line pattern with 2 keys not sure if you can do with one example
x

I had a diamond pattern it can be done with one key example
x
x

I just think the line works better so they are all the same distance
as stated above its all in the bindings under strafe left/right

(Top) I went into Keymaps, and then General Keymaps.
(Left) highlight General and select the "Hold any keystroke actions while Hotkey is held".

Then on the Left, right click mapped keys and create a new one.
I named mine "Down Arrow" and set the Down Arrow to the hotkey to activate it.
It only needs one step.
The target is: "Window: All w/o Current".
And the key combination is Down Arrow, which only reads as Down in ISBoxer Toolkit.

If you wanted to do formations, just give Step 1 more instructions.
With each instruction going to a single window only.

thanks everyone....just read this and also read about how WoW has no "stop follow" ability other then direct key board or mouse interaction.
