I stopped my 4x Rangers just short of 25 when I realized they were going to suck in PvP (like hunter boxers in WoW)

I have decided to reroll and go 4x Clerics, as their DMG is good, though not great, but their healing is incredible and 4 of them would take an army to kill, and they are more interesting, and much more likely to get groups =)

good job though, I'll get my rangers there eventually, but for now, they are on hold =)

I decided on a chanter/templar combo...and they are 20ish atm. This combo seems good for griding and such....but im starting to wonder if I should start to bring up a different combo for pvp. I do like all the buffs the chanter brings.....but im wondering if a cleric with ranged damage would be better to roll with a hard hitting gladiator or templar? Or:
Cleric/Soc?
Soc/Soc?
Cleric/Cleric?
PvP....what would you choose.

if you want max dps and pvp I think templar isn't the best choice - I have a templar + chanter combo because I want a tank for end game (pve) - my second team is assassin + cleric to get me an end game healer and an assassin for dps/pvp

for fastest and good survivability I think gladiator+chanter or assassin+chanter would be best

depending how it goes in the abyss I may switch to solo mode - I don't know yet (the servers went down while I was collecting quests on the first abyss quest hub and watching all the training videos)

All lvl 28. I generally run 3 - Suiana == Cleric, Rynnish == Sorc, Sapp == SM, but at times I'll run all 4 (Khory == Templar) when I need to. Running 4 is hard for me in this game, given I can't get movement keys or alt/shift keys to pass to the networked computer. But it's still fun for me. :)

Although my guild wants me to stop PvEing and take the Cleric and PvP with them. The only PvP in Aion I've seen is ganking and "let's kill the healer first" stuff. Sigh.

Grats on boxing to 28; it's not easy ! post when you get them to 30 !

Yesterday I started the Abyss and PVP and it's not quite boxer friendly (follow breaks when you pass through the flight acceleration gates; lots of movement in pvp; people flying away when you would kill them or death gripping or rooting one of your toons, etc...) so I'll see how that goes - still early to tell
