Anyone using the steelseries world of warcraft 15 button mouse? I am waiting for mine to come in (sometime today). Already installed the software was just wondering if anyone had any issues with the profiles switching from character to character (says you can link profiles to your toons by inputting the name and server of the toon, and apparently able to have it switch profiles from pvp and pve on the fly (and have the mouse change colors depending on the profile in use). Like I said was just curious if anyone uses this mouse.

I used the mouse for a couple of weeks. The features work as advertised when the mouse works. The problem is, the mouse didn't always work : /

The mouse would randomly stop providing input every hour or two until it was unplugged and reconnected. Tried it out on a few different systems with no luck.

Provided that yours doesn't have that problem, it's a nice mouse : )

After messing with the mouse software for well over an hour (was not working and I'm running Windows 7 RC). I tried it out on my wife's computer which was running vista, took about 10 minutes of googling to find out that I had to run the actual installer in compadibilty mode Vista SP2, annd was fine and working. Has not cut out on me or anything as of yet.

Just to put this out, making macros in the mouse software is the same as typing it out in the chat window. not very good if you ask me but then again i just turned off the software controls to the buttons, let wow take em over and used Clique to bind them to stuff in my spell book.

Pretty good if you ask me the switching between profiles bond to certain characters is awesome. Pve = low sensitivity and pvp toons is set to high makes i easier for me.
