View Full Version : Hell of a night for 5v5s - 1800!

Been waiting for this moment since February. Played 600 games last season, never broke 1740. This season, was a pain starting from 0 rating (2k teams just rolling us). Was an inch away from quitting, and today things started to come together.

We went from 1200-1800 tonight. Played a lot of awesome teams, best win was against a 2270 wizard cleave, and a few others against 2k teams. Really got lucky with the healer this season - amazing player, great attitude too.

So I finally get to toss out the titansteel guardians and badge shields... biggest upgrade ever:

I'll say it again, that's a huge one night increase, congrats :) I was wondering if I was reading your earlier post correctly when you said you were 1200 and then later the same day posting about breaking 1800 =P

Especially against the 2k teams, good job -- all though I imagine they give you a lot of points when you win :)

I had a few 2k teams tonight that I knew we could have beaten but it was so close the gear came into play -- we would only lose 2-3 points but all I could think of was we could have gained 20 :)

woot!, i cant seem to get past 1720!!, i guess ima toss out my saved points for furious gear, so its a loooot easier to get to 1800 then wait a week or 2 for the weapon+shield.. (/pray)

i bet you ran right to the store after you went over - i would have
my team hit 1800 early in the season but didn't have the points to make use of it, then i trashed the team rating like an idiot losing a bunch of games with some alts to get them points but i'm climbing back up to 1800 now. thats the plan at least.

do you play all 5 toons or 4 like the rest of the halfbreeds here?

Thanks everyone! Now all my priest wants is 1900 so he can get his helm.

I think the only pvp/arena add-ons I'm using are Gladius and Cooldown timers.

Nice another what does that make 4-5 teams at 1800+ now. Congrats. Hell when i was like 50 points away i sat right in dalaran and queued soon as i got 1800 mad dash to the vendor and went click happy!
