Apparently bonuses like the 15 sec cooldown reduction to Lava Burst are here, it might be the result of a later change to the skill.


Uh what kind of cooldown are they proposing for Lavaburst? 30 secs? 45? The above quote is in relation to the shaman T10 bonus (4 piece) which states that it reduces cooldown of lavaburst by 15secs. Uh oh. :confused:

Im guessing the value is just a placeholder for now - check out the resto druid set bonusses ;)

Seriously it was 15 seconds on MMO until Fursphere pointed out the correct time from the blue post. So... ya.

I'm not doubting you! like I said, sneaky periods. haha. Would be nice to shave a few seconds off of the ol' Lava Burst cool down. Not that I see myself getting that gear in the near future. haha.

As far as PvP is concerned, it would probably be better if it was a long cooldown as it would likely be higher damage, which would make AoE burst for shamans pretty amazing.

It's all moot since 1.5 seconds was the true reduction... :)

AoE Burst has nothing to do with Lava Burst cooldowns...I'm a touch confused with where you were going there...
LvB is a single target spell, that just so happens to be the one spell with a short enough cooldown and enough damage to outpace a healers self healing capability should we not get interrupted or slowed. Adding to the cooldown of this spell would probably upset balance a bit for shamans should no other class change at the same time. Reducing the cooldown by 1.5 seconds probably won't change PvP much since you wouldn't wear 4 PvE pieces for arena, and BGs are zerg fests anyway. In PvE this should bring shaman caster DPS more in line with other caster damage.

As far as AoE is concerened this will have 0 effect on fire nova, magma totem, or thunderstorm...so I wouldn't push for longer cooldowns on LvB to get more AoE damage.
