I'm thinking on moving into this direction as pvp becomes the central interest to me.
I find it really complicate to setup but well gotta do it :/
Would love to hear your opinions on pros and cons as well as if you have any special "tricks" on your ftl setup.
Thank you

The tricks likely are dependent the group makeup.
Do you mean leaderless focusless?

The cons is that it is a pain to set up initially. When I first went from a focus leader setup to moving to an FTL setup, it took me the better part of 4-5 hours to get everything converted and a few more days dealing with a few oddities here and there.
But beyond the initial setup, their are two pros for it off the top my head:
The first is that you get instant leader changes so that if your lead does drop, you can still recovery without any headaches. Either pip swap to the new leader, or just move your mouse to that window and start playing - it's seemless. The only headache I have with it is that I use keyclone and on very few occassions it tends to get confused and loses one of the windows. The swap speed is noticeably slower than Innerspace, but it's not bad on my system -- core i7 extreme, 12gigs ram, 3x 280GTXs (I don't run SLI when boxing, so the system is really overkill for wow)
The other pro is that you can use /focus to assign a nuke target and trick your opponents. I can't tell you how many teams I've caught off guard with it including many paladins, mages, and hunters that all have an instant out.

What cons? It seems to be superior to other setups in every way:
1. Works out of group
2. Characters work solo without any modifications
3. Works if characters are in different parties or even different raids
4. Doesn't require a macro for every spell if you set it up in your software boxing program
5. Allows you to use focus targets
Tricks? Use ISBoxer to set it up :)

I haven't found any cons with my FTL set up but it is a pain in the ass to set up unless you use IS Boxer.
I can't say enough good things about Lax's program -- the program includes a key repeater (ie, keyclone) and sets all toons to automatically follow/assist whichever toon is in the "main" screen section without the use of macros. Until I added windsheer interupts into all my buttons I ran all of my toons with just the regular lightning bolt, flame shock, lava burst, ect -- ie no macros of /assist -- they automatically assist.
The initial set up took about 5 minutes to set up and boom, instant FTL and then some tweaking over the rest of the evening.
Evening the tweaking part is easy because EVERYTHING in the program has an explanation on what it does when you mouse over, something that keyclone lacked that drove me nuts.
Anyone who wants to FTL should get IS Boxer in my opinion -- the instant character switches are awesome, I confuse the shit out of my 5v5 opponetes by constantly switching my main and putting the "new" one out in front :)

I've bought IS some time ago. It's not as user friendly as keyclone for someone like me :).
I'll have to look into into even harder lol. Maybe I'm not getting it and making it even more complicated but one thing I know, I really want to make the switch.

Keyclone has been my best friend forever ;0, Isboxer was like wtf boom? when i had to set it up on my own.. but know there is a setup wizard to get FTL setup ready in around 4 seconds..
BUT ,
Keyclone has a setup wizard now, but the options for pvp are not as well progressed..BUT (yes again), keyclone provides so many options in terms of pve utility, aka differnet hotstrings and all this mumbojumbo people soloing naxx?
So im gunna say isboxer pvp
Keyclone pve.. :0 just for now though

Even if I "solo" Naxx ^^ well just some bosses :p I'm definitely moving to pvp. So I guess I have to "down" IS :).
I've seen the wizard, looks really simple. But then you have to remake all your macros right?

You don't need macros for IS Boxer since everything auto assist -- you can however make macros, just leave out the /assist part you would normally use.

I'm still messing around with it, first day and have a few issues still.
The wizard has any spell/ability that is put on the default action bar (1 through 0, plus - and =), have all characters press the key at once, and automatically target whatever the active character is casting at. Just drag the spell out of the spell book, no macro necessary.

I made the step to IS this morning and I'm really stuck :p Ran all wizards everything "seems" fine but having issues with assists and follows... Hope to get some assistance soon
All in all it looks just awesome specially the pip and I believe once problems are gone I won't regret it.
