I have my shaman ready to begin doing the dailies for the Tourny Valiant stuff and it involves "At the Enemy's Gates" quests.

Whenever i have my jamba follow strobe on and i mount a vehicle it is crazy how all wacked it gets. I learned my lesson and always turn the strobe off before mounting up.

I am wondering if anyone has any great ways to utilize follow while all your toons are mounted?

I will be experimenting with this now and i will post what results i find. I searched this forum for "follow vehicle" but didn't find any good results yet.

I never use jamba strobe follow so my "follow and choose leader" key is ` So i just hit ` when i get on the vehicle and i'm set and ready to kill stuff. quest takes me like 3 minutes to do.

I use a macro along these lines:
/focus [target=zalfire,nodead]
/focus [target=zalist,nodead]
/follow focus
/assist focus

also makes toons from my different teams interchangable. (this is the macro that would be on my "second in command")

when i mount and click the mounted toon it doesn't even have a follow option?

you are saying that your macro will still follow the character in the vehicle and make it all good though?

A lot of people have had success on the Tournament Dailies with only one toon mounted, and the others DPSing from the ground.

I believe if you have the group /Focus your lead toon after they enter the vehicle, then /Follow Focus will work.

i will add my further reflections in edits to this post.

i found that i can manually focus a toon and then even when they are in a vehicle i can follow them even though the vehicle is no follow-able.

I tried focusing the vehicle (which i can do) and then following focus but it says that the target can't be followed. I can however follow the toon before they get in the vehicle and then still follow them while in it.

Not sure what is the jamba strobe issue there. Maybe it was an error on my part and maybe my jamba is too old and i need to look for the current version.

EDIT #!
My jamba strobe is for sure causing my major problem. When i turn the strobe off and just use follow it works well.

So now i have the follow issue down and my concern becomes how do i co-ordinate my attacks.

Mostly i probably need to think about it for a bit. Right now i use macaroon and i have a bar configured so that all my toons auto use whatever is on that bar for whoever their focus targets. Problem is that none of the vehicle moves are on that bar and i dont' think i can get them there. I will probably have to go back to using a macro to assist target or something like that.

I always use follow strobing for "At the Enemy's Gates".

1. Turn off follow before mounting.
2. Send all slaves to mount first
3. Have your main mount up last.
4. I have F5 set in my keybindings as "Target Party Member 1" for all slaves and alt-F5 as a focus target. So F5 a few times so they all target then Alt-F5 sets the new focus. It should show up as the vehicle.
5. Ctrl-Insert is my button to turn follow strobing back on.

I have the below macro on F6 for everyone so they can just all spam away

/assist focus
/click [target=vehicle,exists] VehicleMenuBarActionButton1
/click [target=vehicle,exists] VehicleMenuBarActionButton2

I am using the latest Jamba-Dev release.
I use the same method with the "Vile Like Fire" quest and the one at Wyrmrest Temple. And in TotC.

and alt-F5 as a focus target.
How many times have you alt-F4'd out of wow?
(this has nothing to do with the topic btw)

Heheh, never. My FKeys are broken up in banks of 4 so it's easy for me to feel my way to the right keys. Actually, it looks like I can't alt-f4 out while HKN is active anyway.
