Hi all ! im just starting to 2 box and have innerspace and ISBoxer...i have been messing with and trying out different settings and following the tutorials...but i havent been able to balance my FPS on a dual screen 2 account setup...i can get 60 fps on my main screen or whatever one im selected on but my backround fps on the "off" screen drops to like 5 to 15 fps and really bogs down.....

here is some info on my setup :

playing Vanguard ( its really not as bad as it used to be lol )

Windows 7 ultimate
BFG GTX 8800
8 gig ram and a quad core intel Proc

Any suggestions would be really helpful and im looking forward to learning and helping others in the future !

Thanks !

I'm assuming in inner space, you haven't limited the background frames per second to the lower number that you're getting?

well im not sure what to do..i have the foreground set at 50 and the background set at 45 just to see if i can get it to be a bit more balanced.....i was just playing and it still seems way too unbalanced..now i know i wont get it perfect i suspect it could be a windows load balancing issue as well so i dont know...

High framerates on background screens will really hamper your ability to play smoothly. The more intense the graphics, the worse it will be. For WoW, 15-25 on slave clients is more than enough to look smooth and not brutalize your main. For EQ2, anything higher than 13 FPS on the slaves gave me a huge hit in performance.

Your slaves do not need huge framerates, you'll barely be able to see the difference but you will feel the difference. Try dropping your slave to 15-20 FPS and make sure it is using lower quality graphics settings.
