I'd personally recommend you download the addon Jamba, which you can find in the Macro/Addon forum.

Inside WoW, press escape, Interface and then Mouse option.
Put a check mark beside "Click to Move".
Experiment with this, you might want to only enable click to move on the slave/alt toons.

Then go into Keybindings (WoW, Escape, Keybindings).
You'll want a key for assist, the default is F.
In that same area, you'll want to keybind something for "Interact with Target".

Within Jamba, I believe the sub menu is Jamba Quest, you'll want the slaves to copy the master's quest choices.
If you're running everything the same class (5x Boomkin or 5x Ret Pally etc), they can take the same quest rewards as well.
If you're running different classes you'll want them to need to pick a reward before completing a quest.

Once you have everything set up, questing is easy.

You'll target the quest npc with your active/main toon.
Hit your assist key (if you target the main), or the macro to assist the main if you use a different assist method.
Now the slaves/alts are all targeting the same thing as the master/main toon.

Next hit your Interact with Target keybind.
Because you have "Click to Move" enabled in mouse options, any toon out of range will move into range on their own.
They will open the window with the target the same as your main.

Because of Jamba, and quest you click on or dialogue the main selects, the alts will do the same.

It makes it a lot easier to quest.
