Cause items also cost alot and if you level you need to have some decent items :P

It is certainly possible to start anywhere you want. It is a bit tougher on a new server, but doable. I have done it several times. Just make a miner/herbalist or miner/skinner and passive collect what you can. Copper bars are at least 2g a stack on most servers, usually more. You can make enough if you put some time into it. The trouble with RAF is you generally level so fast you end up 60 in level 31 greens.

If you a 55 already somewhere, you can start a DK on the server you are going to level your guys on. give him mining/herbing + skinning. This can be quick gold for your guys. With RAF you outlevel areas way to fast and you don't want to slow your guys down with trying to find mines or herbs. that's when the DK comes in handy cuz he already has his fast mount and you just have to spend maybe 30 minutes a night gathering and what not to put on the AH.

You can also plan ahead and just do the HFP quests with your DK and sell all the rewards for an easy 300g. This shouldnt take you more than a couple hours. Again this is all advice considered if you already have at least 1 high level somewhere.

If your main goal is to quest and pve and do some battlegrounds then 2 hunters are absolute fun.
Only downside is no rez ability. But they level real fast.

For PvP (battlegrounds) I am also myself considering a 3man warlock team a 2man should work just as well :)

Is it harder to play with close combat? like a rogue. i do like hunter but i think with the you need to put more time into that. and think the best is to start as shaman. or mage :P but just cant decide

and if i do RAF can i do it now for a month :P and later again for a month. or as soon as it starts it is active for 90 days? :o

It's from the day you sign up, you can't pause it. The nice thing about RAF is that within 90 you can easily level a couple of rogues, hunters, shaman and mages lol.

I don't think it is harder it is just different.
I requires different macros and you have to take range and positioning into consideration more often.
But with the new "interact with target" function, things are now very nice on the melee side.
Basically go to the interface options and bind one key to the interact with target option.
Then when in combat whenever you hit that shortcut, your characters will run to their selected target and start attacking it.

That being said there is not doubt that the most gentle introduction to multiboxing is probably through the shaman,
a character that you can arguably both run as ranged and/or melee with success.

I have no experience with rogues but I do enjoy my very young (level 6) paladin group.

Most people think Feral is the fastest/easiest to solo level. With 2 or more I find caster works well.
