Hi, i recently followed my mates example (Holmeser) and started 5 boxing :P so i downloaded hotkeynet.. set it up to start up 5 wow's etc... but i have found that when i exit the wow's, next time i go on them again i have to redo jamba, key bindings, etc etc (the general things that take like 30mins) this is very annoying obviously... is there something im doing wrong or something i can do to stop this?
thanks

Are you playing a solo toon in between MB sessions? This will change settings and if it get real bad (sounds like it does) you might want to use a different WoW directory to run the MB toons. You can symlink or just update them seperately

basically this is the part of the script:
//-----------------------------------------------------------
// SUBROUTINE TO LAUNCH AND RENAME A COPY OF WOW.
//-----------------------------------------------------------
<Command LaunchAndRename>
<SendPC %1%>
<Run "c:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\WoW.exe">
<RenameTargetWin %2%>
//-----------------------------------------------------------
// HOTKEY TO LAUNCH AND RENAME YOUR WOW WINDOWS
//-----------------------------------------------------------
<Hotkey ScrollLockOn Alt Ctrl L>
<LaunchAndRename Local WoW1>
<LaunchAndRename Local WoW2>
<LaunchAndRename Local WoW3>
<LaunchAndRename Local WoW4>
<LaunchAndRename Local WoW5>
is their something i can change to make it keep my settings?
any help would be great as im kinda new to this :)

Are you running in admin mode for WoW? Are you exiting them all at once or one by one? Those are the usual culprits, HKN shouldn't do anything at all to the WTF files which store the interface settings.

If you right-click on the wow.exe in your windows explorer, click on properties and then on the compatibility tab you can set it to always run as administrator.

Right-click the shortcut for HKN, in the options there should be "run as admin"

Hehe np, though it's kinda strange you have this problem. I also use hotkeynet and a single wow-instance/folder for my slave-pc and I don't use 'run as admin' but everything is still saved :)
