In honor of cataclysm

Why dont we all pick a server either do alliance or horde. Me im thinking alliance. And all roll the new classes and lvl together so we can do stuff as a mb community with the new classes. I mean no rush to get them to 85 at your liesure but i think it would be fun to tackle a mb guild and see what we can get as a guild rating. This can also show what a dedicated few can do with multiple accounts. Reason i want alliance is i dont feel like being a goblin, i love the worgen idea and think it would be fun to roll my class of tank heals and dps. Any one else want to join in let me know.

Well I like the idea, start me some Goblins or something one set on one server another set on the other one Horde and 1 alliance. I like it we should discuss this as the game gets here in another year or so.

Hate to be the cynical one here, but as a guild master / guild leader, I've dealt with quite a few people "re-rolling" to "play with other boxers".

...most end up disappearing without a trace, either gone back to their original server / faction, or just quit altogether. Yes, this idea looks good on paper, but in reality, most don't follow through with it.

And yes, The Zerg is horde. :) (I missed the "alliance" part in the OP's post)

I hear ya Fur.

Some could say that about me after I rolled 3 sets to 60 on Mag i took a break from the ganking (being ganked) to play on a PvE realm but in the long run I plan to come back to those toons. PvP servers go in cycles with me.

i would love to do it but your right we need people that would be 100 percent there. But horde not sure lol. Goblins vs worgen. You tell me i still think worgen are better with better racials.

Well, I personally have several friends who play on the same realm/faction as me.
In addition to that, I have a lot of in-game friends, many who were in EQ1 with me 10+ years ago.

I have no objection to a Goblin or Worgen team, but will only roll on Cenarius.
Most of my toons are Alliance and I prefre Worgen to Goblins.
I don't really see the point in doing a server transfer to move gold to a new realm.

I'd imagine most of us in a similar boat.
While the idea of 20 or so boxers together is neat...
Most have resources, friends, roots etc to their current server.

I guess i was an exception for the legion of boom's recruiting woes... I could understand the few that left before hitting lvl 20, rerolling can be a bitch.... but the people that leveled 5 toons to 80 then fell off the face of the planet, seems like an epic waste of time. One guy xferred 5 lvl 70 toons over leveled to 80, then switched to another class, leveled 1-80 with RAF, then disappeared.

Too many people have too much going on on a particular server/faction, for too many reasons for all of us to move to one server/faction. I kinda like being in a smaller, more close knit guild than what a huge guild must be like.

I also am thinking of saving the money and buying 5 more copies ontop of my existing 5. This way i can do the raf thing again. Man otherwise i am so dreading the lvl game from 1-80 minus raf. I wouldnt be 80 till i was 80 in rl lol. Anyone else had this idea as well. Just going and getting 5 more copies of wow,bc,wotlk,and cataclysm just for raf purposes. But then i was thinking to use raf right and just get reg wow times 5. Then i can lvl my worgen and goblin teams to 60 and transfer accounts with them cause not sure if i want to pay what 140 a month to play lol. Also ontop of that another 300 for all the wows or 250 to do account transfers. What a dilema what should i do.

I've redone RAF's more then once but you don't need 5 new accounts. I've retained 2 of the original accounts each time so you only need three new ones. It saves on repruchasing expansions.

I suspect that the new races wont be available unless you have cataclysm - so this would also mean upgrading through BC and Wrath too.
