It's no secret Horde racials far outweigh anything the Alliance can offer, and the Human one especially since trinkets are combining the on use of Every Man for Himself with respectable secondary stats. When Blizzard offered up the faction change service, there were no second thoughts - I was going back home, back home where it all started.

There is no Placebo effect in place here, you can Feel and See the difference of how effective the Orc racials compare to the Draenei. Especially in where it counts, the Arena. If you are min/maxing and want the best performance - hands down Orc is the preferred choice.

A nice caveat to all of this is no longer being the underdog. Winning BG's and Wintergrasp doesn't feel like an uphill battle.

Anyone else make the switch?

4x Dranei Female Shamans became 4x Female Orc Shamans. Been extremely happy with them and I just love the atmosphere of the Horde so much more. It feels good to be ack to the right faction after so many years. :)

I started on Alliance due to my friends from DAoC starting there. They are all gone now 8( my first toon ever was an Orc hunter, he made it to level 5 before my friends told me what server they were on ( Hyjal ) ANYWAY>> i have always wanted to go horde, but have so many toons. I know I would want to bring at least 8 of my 80s over. I just don't want to leave my guild mates. If they made the switch, I would for sure.

Damn this is tempting there are a few multiboxers on the horde side, I think maybe 2 but I have not really ran into any of them in a long time so they could be gone. I might do it and just go to another server I will have to see what server you all are on and see if there is room there.

I made the switch, but the other direction. Mainly because a cool guild extended an invite and I was looking for some actual fun in wow. I don't regret the decision one bit! Gotta have fun right?

I've been strongly considering this move as well -- the 160 +spell power that stacks with trinkets and no global would put all of me at 3200+ spell power for 15 seconds, plus the 15% reduction in stun is pretty nice (all though the 25% chance to resist was even better).

However the two big factors are one, the cost $140 for 4
Also, I've played alliance and only alliance on the same server since the launch of WoW -- going horde would be interesting to say the least =P

Enjoy the racials while you can. I believe Blizz is going to be balancing things a bit more. But don't see the big advantage to Horde racials. Alliance, escape Artist, Every Man for Himself, Stoneform etc...

I've never leveled past 25 ish on the Horde side, I plan on doing it while my RAF is active.

The game is all about having fun, so if going Horde is fun for you, then....For the Horde

with 17+ level 80s with 4 more at 78 .... it's not going to happen.... If I really wanted to be horde I would play a team up so I knew the true meaning of being horde. maybe even try a pvp server since I've done the PvE server thing.

Transferred about 10 toons to alliance, probably wont do that again. It gets kinda spendy when you do server transfer and then faction transfer. =X

I'm seriously considering switching a group of Orc shaman to Dorfs when it becomes possible.

I'm not sure why but I think the Dorf shaman are pretty cool, and long over due.

I started out Horde, went Alliance when my friend started playing I should just go back to Horde since he dont play any more.
But dang it I dont really like BElf's that much and that's the only choice for Pally right now, might just go horde when Tauren are allowed to be pallies.

i would like play horde side, but on my server (alonsus eu pve), situation is complex:
really low population, few guilds, someone really good, but maybe too much for me and my teams.

I wanted to switch to Alliance even though I have been Horde for four years now, simply because of the BG stats on my server. Horde kicks but all the way to 79, then in the 80 bracket we lose horribly. On my days off I BG for about 15 hours, and over the past year it's been the same, pre-wotlk we were bad at 70, now 80. Wintergrasp we are outnumbered bad because we lose so much noone even bothers to queue. I rolled an ally DK just to see what it would feel like to win. It was nice.
