After starting as a dual boxer and then running a 3 man team shortly after, I've moved up to running a 5 box team that is leveling exclusively from instances & instance quests. It's been a blast and I appreciate all the hard work and information that has gone into this site. Couldn't have done it without you guys.

Now onto the question. I recently ran ZF with my team and encountered my first true problem scenario - hexes. My team is a Pally, Druid, 2 Shaman, & a Hunter. Cleansing is never an issue, but the shadow hunters in ZF were my fist case of running into a trick that I had no answer for. After my tank was hexed into a frog, the mobs would attack my other party members and the only solution I had at that point was to heal through it. That's fine & dandy for ZF ... but what about similar cases that may come up later?

To some of you guys out there who have tackled most (or all) of the instances, what is your backup plan once the tank is disabled? I mentioned hexes, but this really applies to any case where your tank gets taken out of the action.

Tremor should remove hex, IIRC.

Tremors are the only ones that act as our 'trinkets'. Not sure if hex/sheep are charm effects, but if they are then tremor's the one to clear it.

That's the version they're using in ZF {and a few other places}. Various comments under the individual mobs indicate that you can use tremor to remove it, grounding to eat it, and you can remove it with anyone who can cleanse magic.

Beyond that, dealing with a disabled tank....

Druid - Root, Cyclone
Hunter - Traps, pet
Shaman - Earthbind, Stoneclaw

Eventually you'll also get the elementals and your own hexes.
