Ok, this really creeped me out for some reason. I was doing some quests in the Barrens, and this guy, Lovemeone, whispered me. He says, "Hey, I just saw you ride by. Do you think you can help me clear to WC. " So I was like sure, I'll give you a hand and rode back. I went inside the cave and I was like "Where are you?" He says to go deeper into the cave, I try inviting him to my group to get a mark on him but he's in a group. So finally I turn a corner and I see this guy. But it's not just one guy, its 5 guys wearing the same clothing, name "Lovemetwo" "Lovemethree" etc,,,,
So I ask him what he needs help with. He stays ominously quiet and so I ask him again. He then responds "You've been so courteous, thank you. But I'm not the one that needs help. You do" Then they all log out. And I stood there. Alone.
So yeah, that messed with me for some reason. Anyone have any creep Wow moments.

That person must be easily spooked. I'd have just thought "Moron. And went on my way."
I did have an incident recently where I was being stalked, No matter where I went these 4 other characters kept following me. Jumping when I jumped, mounting up when I tried to mount and get away and trying to tap mobs when I started firing on them. (Luckily I always seemed to get the hit in first).
Then I remembered that I was multiboxing and they were my characters. What a relief.

I was logging on my rouges in stv not so long ago, at the same time i was on the phone talking so i put them in stealth and continued talking. When i got back i turned to the opposite direction and my hearth jumped a few inches. There where 3 rouges in stealth ready to strike! Then i realized i was not in group and that it was my rouges..

As I was reading it, I thought it was going to end with him logging over to a team of the opposite faction and killed the guy. That would have been cool!

The creepiest thing I ever saw was a guy in our guild back during vanilla - he was 19, and had moved all the way across the country to try and be near a woman he'd raided with in another guild, who was in her 30's, married (happily), with kids. He was from Virginia, and she was in Oregon somewhere, and he was stuck in Portland working at some fast food place, spending all of his money on wow and a phone line. He never raided, grouped, or did much of anything but log onto his list of alts, we found out it was how he was stalking her, each one had different friends that knew her or were guilded with her. We had a couple of the alts in the guild, the rest we did'nt know the names of.
We figured out all of this over several months, and started talking to his old guild - and found out he had a restraining order on him for her, and was completely obsessed. He'd never seen a picture, talked to her in private or on the phone, or contacted her outside of the game, but he'd gotten her info from the guild site, and was sure if he could just talk to him, she'd see the light and leave her family to be with him.
The creepiest part is how easily he'd admit to it all, like it was something we all do.
Yeah.
We had a final confrontation with him, with us officers and the GM, to explain we were not comfortable with him in the guild, and that he needed professional help, and his responses were the creepiest and most depressing things I'd ever witnessed. He left, and we never saw him again.

This is one of those left brain/right brain conflict moments. The logical types are like "ACTUALLY THAT'S CALLED MULTIBOXING", and the emotional types are like "dude wtf that's creepy"

Nah it was that he called them over to WC just to try to creep the guy out.
I personally found it amusing but then I have always had a bit of a wapred sense of humour.
