Im new to multi boxing and am trying out only 2 characters at a time right now. I figured out how to make all the macros work but was wondering which would be easier and faster to level 2 Hunters or 2 Warlocks?

2 hunters would be faster. Better front loaded damage=faster kills=faster leveling.

I have both (5 man teams). Both have pets that can tank. Both have ways to heal your pets. Both are pretty fun. Both can fight on the move (instant casts/attacks).
Some differences.
Locks lost the get the shard back ability in BG's, so if you throw your pets at people and you run away, hunters win 100% (whistle and bam, full healed pet), while locks have 10 sec downtime and down a shard.
Hunters have pets that can do pretty good DPS (as BM) and still tank. Locks have specific pets for specific situations (until lvl 51 with felguard). Hunters also have a wide variety of pets that you might like (either skins, abilities, talents, etc).
Locks kinda lose on the CC part. Fear is too dangerous to do reliably. Sure they have seduce, but they lose a pet in the process, where hunters can trap and have the pet also.
Locks lose in tanking (until you get part down in affliction tree). Mail beats cloth if a mob wants to beat on you. Also hunters can feign to get the mob back on the pet.
I would try both, can't hurt. By lvl 20-40 you can see a difference and then you can decide then. Hunters are probably easier, but locks are probably for people that want them really bad, so they will find ways to make them work.
Good luck.

two locks, seriously dont try hunters. Hunters are so shitty as a multiboxer. I regret leveling 4 hunters to 80 every time I see them on the character select screen. So ...so, shitty for anything.
2 mages would be even better if you could find a way to use blinking to your advantage.
Seriously, Im thinking of adding a sig to my posts that warns any multiboxer not to play hunters. They fake you out with their leveling speed and then you find out the truth at 80, they suck at everything unless you play them solo.

Locks are better imo.
Hunters just dont bring any utility. Sure they have some nice front load dmg, but so do destro locks. Lvling with either will be a cake walk. Really have to decide on what kind of end game you wish to play. Shards can be a pita but its really not that bad. Shards are gone in the next expansion so that is something to keep in mind. I guess same thing can be said about hunters with mana being gone, but still with energy they will still be front load dmg, like a rogue. No idea if they will have any utility like the locks have. Will have to wait and see.

Ended up with locks. Sometimes my slave hunter would get turned around and couldnt fire. At least with locks DoTs can fire all day with my back to the mobs. I have also been playing 1 with full heirlooms and the other w/o and the one with is doing twice the damage lol. Its just funny too see how much more OP a caster with heirlooms is compared to one w/o.

Dude locks all the way. I got 5 locks at 65 and OMFG. Aff atm in pvp is so fun. 20+ dots and pets hehe dot and run oh snap outta mana life tap dot dot dot drain life. Locks have such lil down time. On the shard thing in bgs i never lose pets and if i do i get them back as soon as bg is over. Oh darn as a hunter u run far enough away ur pet dispawns but what happens when it dies oh man cast time summon a new one and feed lol. Also never have to buy ammo for wep. so go locks. My spec at 80 is 54 destructo and 15 aff. Imp dots in aff and chaos bolt in destructo. Can u see it now immolate conflagerate choas bolt times 5 idc how much hp u got ur done. Oh your a pally before u can bubble ur dead lol. Oh if not i got my priest mass dispell ur still dead.
