Ding 68

Well, my 2nd team finally dinged 68 - been questing through outlands skipping all quests that I don't like the looks of - But I got a good few quests left here.

Opinions:

Should I head straight to Northerend? If so, should I do non collection quests only, or will that leave me short of 80? I don't plan to do much instances and no boosting. My first team did all quests in Northerend, and it was painfully slow at times :P

Just looking for opinions and words of encouragement ;)

Go straight to Notrthrend. Go to Wowhead and get all the equips that suits your team rewarded by quest.. Add more filters after you click the link below like armor type, slot, stat etc

Check the source column for the specific quest. Sometimes I check the quest in http://thottbot.com/ to know more about it just in case I can't find the first quest of the chain.

By the time you hit 71 you're all dress up and ready to que for Alterac Valley while you do your quests.

What I did was hit UK around 68 and just killed ground the trash until 70. That way I could pick and choose the quests in HF and BT and skip some of the collection quests. I also agree with Diwa but I generally wait until 74/75 to start trying to line up gear quests, unless it is a trinket that is rare to replace at later levels.

I am also leveling my second team and I can craft most of the pre-raid gear they will need with my first team once they are all 80. I also find AV to be a great break in the monotony of questing/grinding. I generally get 1 bar or so per win.

Mmm, went to UK at 68 - and probably a combination of low skills, bad macros and real bad gear has me in the situation that I can't reliably beat 3 mob pulls - which means I only clear the first hallway up to the big round room with the fire - then reset - not very efficient :P

Any advice? Running War+boomkin+hunter+warlock+priest (took,looki, booze,kael and raggamuffin on Chamber of Aspects EU)

I couldn't do UK at 68 with my teams either so don't worry about that - get at least a few quests done in northrend to get better gear

Questing in Northrend is about 5 times faster than AV at the moment. ot worth it unless you're going to be honor grinding at 80 anyway. Hopefully things change this coming tuesday and the lower the levels of the npc's so that games don't get drawn out to reinforcement victories.

AV exp per hour right now is about 100k, which is laughable.
