So I've almost reached what, in my opinion, is the pinnacle of what you can do with a solo group: Glory of the Hero. All I need is that damn water boss from Violet Hold for Dehydration, then I'm done. Obviously I'm not going to completely retire my boys, but I feel that will be time to finally start a new team!
My current team is the Prot Pally and 4x Elemental Shamen. Very easy team to play once you get it down. Now I'm ready for a new challenge.
Some ideas I'm currently floating around:
-DK, 4x Druid
-5x Druid
-DK, 3x Hunter, Druid
-DK, Druid, Hunter, Mage, Priest
-5x Pallies
-5x DKs
I'm really open for anything thats a departure from the Pally/Shaman variety. So any suggestions?
One thing to keep in mind: I'm a button-masher who relies heavily on /click macros.
Suggestions anyone? I'm looking for something fun and a group that I can eventually do Heroics and Glory of the Hero with.

Personally i love the idea of the druid heavy teams. So the DK or Druid tank.
I think they could seem a bit too much like the shaman. There would be awesome power available if you can mouse broadcast with your solution. Making full use of treeants, hurricane and starfall to blow things up.
If you like a bit of pvp then I'd go for 5 druids.
After that I'd probably try a 5 paladin group. Lots of buffs, auras. Speedy movement everywhere.
Resses, emergency lay on hands. Bubbles.

So the folks who use multiple druids rely on the mouse broadcasting for high DPS?

oh no - i wasn't saying they rely on it. I've only played a single moonkin, never multiboxed,
and starfall, with hurricane on packs of trash puts out major dps.
On bosses you can pop starfall and I suppose could pop the treeants individually if need be but it would make life easier being able to pop all the treeants at the same time and then hurricane the same spot on them all.
Check out the videos of the moos. They give a pretty good idea of running a bunch of druids.

How about this thought: DK, 4x Paladin! Anyone ever try that?
Are Ret Pallies still ok to 'box since the "nerfs" in the last patch?
Ret Pallies actually got a buff from Seal of Command (hit 2 targets if activated but not all skills) then equip it with Glyph of Seal of Command to get extra 8% mana back plus 25% from Judgement of the Wise every Judgement spell.
With regards to new team I would suggest not having pally and shaman since you already have those. Instead go for a team than can easily switch to long range DPS for raids or battlegrounds.
Druid (BearTank[5man] & DPSMoonkin[raids] )
Mage
Warlock
Hunter
Priest (Heals[5man] & DPSShadow[raids])
Or go melee
Warrior
Enhancement Shaman
DK
Rogue
Priest
Go mix team to optimize buffs!

Melee Box. Pick 4 of: Rogue, Druid, Paladin, DK, Shaman, Warrior Then Pick a healer of your choice.

1 * Prot Paladin
4 * Ret Paladin
I'm really tempted to make my next team like that.

So I'm doing Coren Direbrew last night with my wife and her sister. I had my Pally and 2 of the Shamen there. Wife plays a mage, her sister a Boomkin. I just happened to look at my DPS numbers after the first kill, and with their buffs, my 2 Shamen were pulling over 4100 DPS!!!!!!!! This was WITHOUT Heroism or cooldowns!!!!! I couldnt freaking believe it!!! My guys normally pull 2500 to 2800 DPS in Heroics. I was then told exactly what these Druid and Mage buffs were and what they do. So now I'm thinking about just working up at least a Druid into my group for that DPS boost!!!!!

Hm, if thats true, then the question is, which would be more time-consuming: Raising a Druid from 60 to 80, or a Leatherworker from 0 to 450?
The druid adds more dps buffs then just MoTW.

If you want to get away from the shaman playstyle i wouldn't suggest druids. I'd say go with a team of ret pally or warlocks. Both are great and both are fun imo. Either that or go with a completely mixed team.

Warrior
Enhancement Shaman
DK
Rogue
Priest

Trade the rogue for a ret pally, warrior for a druid tank, and the priest for a pally healer if you can handle that and that group looks really fun. So many melee buffs.
Druid tank -- motw and leader of the pack
Enhancement shaman -- strength of earth totem, windfury totem, bloodlust, unleashed rage
DK -- horn of winter, Abominations might
Ret pally -- Blessing of strength, heart of the crusader
Holy pally -- Blessing of Kings
That's some serious melee power right there.
Edit: does anyone know if these all stack and/or which don't?

Look at my sig Nay. Strength of earth doesnt stack with horn of winter. But let the DK do horn and shaman can do stoneskin for some more armor.
Aboms might and unleashed rage dont stack.
Other than that should be good to go.

Awesome. I think I'm going to farm some plate heirlooms and try it out since I've been anxious to do a serious melee group. I wouldn't want to be deathgripped by your DK. ;)
