Glyphs that ill use!

I will most certain use: glyph of lava and shocking

But i realy cant make my mind up if i should go for flametounge glyph or thunderstorm.
what are you gonna run with?

for arenas im using lava and shocking on all with stoneclaw on my default leader and thunderstorm on the alts

I don't micromanage stoneclaw but its included in my thunderstorm sequence, just reviewing logs after each match it seems like i'm almost always getting my monies worth from the glyph (several wins where leader would have died without the shield) :)

P.S. I'm just starting out in arenas again and have low ratings fwiw, ~1300 atm (4x shaman, 1 disc priest healer)

Help me Eloxy, why dont you like FS dot crits? I like TS glpyh alot, but does the extra dmg from FS dot crits out weight 10 sec off TS or +2% crit? I dont know the numbers but I think it would. /shrug

Does FS being able to be dispelled factor into the choice? Honestly looking for help here ;p

Were in the same boat m8.
But lets look at the facts:

Glyph of thunder gives : 3 secondish mele peel off, and a close aoe burst on a 10 second shorter cooldown.

Glyph of flametoungeweap gives: 2% more crit to all damage AND healing spells, keep in mind this is constant.

So when u think what saves you, and kills the most opponents in arenas...
I am a believer that things that are guarantied to happen is good (cuz u know they will happen = no suprise) thereby making the flame tounge glyph "unreliable" vs the thunderstorm glyph.
Altso there is two arenas that gives u a good advantage to blast mele of the edges (sewers and blades edge)
So yeah i guess i will use the TS glyph rather than flametounge glyph.

But then again this is what I thing and feel..playstyles varies and maby others will be better off with flametounge glyph.
Altso im going nonmainstream and blow all of my ts at the same time. Ts rotation is kinda overrated imo and fekks up the gcd rotation on the crew...but thats another story =)

TS is overrated imo. Its a nice knockback at the beginning, but when your second is off cooldown (even with the glyph) half of their team is dead.

forgot about this gyph... this is altso a good way to boost your spellpower. but imo both wrath and ts totem is superior to flameshock glyph

2% crit is never good over the damage provided by the other glyphs... people should just delete flametonge weapon glyph from their head really.

Atm i went with 4 glyph of thunder but starting to think i may respec all 4 shamans into ToW and get that glyph for 30% increase of ToW spell power. I dont like flametongue cause i rarely every kill someone with a lightning bolt its always with lava burst and thats always crit.

I gave this alot of thought last night and came to the same conclusion. Im gonna dropp the thuderstorm glyph for TOW glyph and respec my team. Offence is our main defence, we must not forget ;)

Ok. with TOW totem im sitting at 2609 sp with ToW buff and wo totem. with totem its 2889sp.
Things dropp down FAST. I realy think this is the way to go tbh

Lava, shocking, ToW.
And dont forget to PURGE kids! =)

I'm at 2850sp without TOW glyph. Its great, but I dont like using 4x TOWs in my rotation, and I still think TS is the way to go. Higher ranked matches can go on for a while sometime too.
