Profiler Software

I recently upgraded to an i7 920.
This required a new motherboard and a reinstall of the operating system.
I formatted the C Drive for a clean install of everything.
I don't seem to have my Logitech CD which came with the keyboard.

From the logitech website I can find the drivers for the keyboard.
I cannot find the Profiler software anywhere.

Any ideas?

I uninstalled the drivers for mine after i saw that it uses nearly a gig of ram for a display that doesn't really do much.
But that's off topic lucky me someone posted the link before me

I have downloaded and run the file from that location.

A dialogue box opens.
Step 1, I select English for my language.
Step 2, I agree to the terms of use.
Step 3, it tells me it has successfully installed the software.
Step 4, it wants me to register my product.

Step 3 takes maybe half a second to complete. The installer is a 16mb file. It never prompts me where to install the file.

I have no Logitech folder anywhere on the system.
I do not have any icon on the task bar.
Nothing on the Start Menu or All Programs.
Seach for Logitech only brings up the installer file.
Search for Profiler finds nothing; the software used to be called Profiler.

Kind of stumped.

A gig of RAM? Heck mine uses no where near that.....

yup was taking about 950Meg to have it display things I could find onscreen in WoW, bag space, health, stat values, etc. I had to check several times to make sure I wasn't seeing meg when it really said kb or something, but it never changed and I recently checked to see if the issue still existed for my machine and was saddened to see that it does.
Vista64 on a 3 month old laptop with the G15 in the USB port, nothing else had to be running on the machine for it to exhibit this behavior for me and logitech tech support was unable to help, even though i can reproduce the problem 100% of the time. So sadly it works as a cool light on the keyboard for now...at least the rest of the features work for me without issue.

I have experimented with the other downloads from the site.

The 64 bit version for both XP and Vista have the same result.
The stage 3 install takes less then half a second, with nothing actually happening.

The 32 bit version for both XP and Vista have a different result.
An installation actually occurs at stage 3.
So far, running 32 bit version of the Profiler has worked just fine for me.

Mine uses about 40 megs which is more than I actually thought it did. I do not really pay attention to what is on the LCD I should just disable it myself. I definitely would if I had the same issue you have.

Did you run it as Administrator?

I've had issues with installs not working right unless I right clicked and ran as admin.

Did not need to run as administrator originally. The 64-bit versions did not run, as administrator or not. The 32-bit version ran fine, did not run it as admin the first time, but since it worked..
