Greetings. I've been away from multiboxing for a while, have only had time to raid on my main, family time has driven my boxing to the back burner for a while. When I thought MB could be a more efficient use of my online time, guess I was wrong.

Anyway, I'm stapling the 61 pally I leveled on my main account long ago to my 4 RAF leveled L65 shammies. The pally's got heirlooms, he'll catch up.

I ran with a very very simple /focus and assist party1 style lightning spam originally when it was just the 4 shammies, used keyclone.

Now I'm mixing in the pally and ISBoxer, and have some questions or meta-organization thoughts.

1- I use Left Alt for vent and my quickbars I've always used 1thru= and Shift1 thru Shift=, so I'm forseeing that conflicting with the fast and easy setup of FTL that's provided in the ISBoxer wizard. Am I mistaken that it will conflict, how would I best work around it if that is an issue? Or should I just use a focus based target and hold? (I don't pvp).

2- I saw something a while ago that either castrandom or castsequence functionality had been drastically altered which made the one button pally tanking button not work right anymore, anyone give me the rundown/solution?

3- When I was preparing to set up this crew way back before I got sidetracked, I had bookmarked a number of posts people had made tables or mapped out their keys to show how the synergy worked between different classes, but the forum changed broke those links so they're gone. I've been tinkering off and on for a week with pencil and paper trying to lay out my 2 main quickbars in a coherent arrangement to allow full spamming but also allow the tank to switch targets without the shammies swapping immediately, but it's not coming. Any tips or tricks that keeps a layout clean and coherent appreciated.

4- I saw the other thread about the tilde key defaulting in ISBoxer/console, is there a way to rebind that elsewhere rather than just kill it? I use tilde for my interact with target key, works well when I hit the assist key, then tilde, whether fighting or quest interacts.

5- I think my general meta-layout is /interact, /assist, and 1 or 2 spam keys on left side of keyboard/quickbars, utility spells/food/drink/mount right side of quickbars, and use the numpad for primarily heals in some form or another.

6- Any MB tips on the new "drop 4 totems at once" functionality? I've only gotten to train it, not use it so far, my shammies are still in Exodar from the training.

Thanks.

1 i use keyclone so i can't help ya here. For PvE though, keyclone and a simple focus based targeting system is easy to setup and configure.

2. castrandom wont work on spells with cooldowns any more, once it has picked a spell randomly, it will attempt to cast that until it can, so no more "easy button" i'm afraid. Cascadable sequences with /click are all the rage now, check out the macro forum for lots of different options.

3. I just do it simple and dont have any fancy macros for separate targets. I guess you could use simple target based, have the shaman target something, and not use focustarget. I've been meaning to make a backup button to switch my focus from my tank to another toon of mine, and target manually with that one. I would be very interested in a setup where i can tank and dps different targets, for instance, say taunting a mob without the rest of the dps hitting him, negating my taunt (mouseover taunt macro maybe?)

4. Can't help ya there, i use tilde for my mount key though

5. sounds good

6. totem bar is smooth as silk. you get 3 "presets' of totem groups, with a spell for each. I set up 3 hotkeys for different totem combinations (one with 5 groundings, one with all the diverse buffs for general mob/boss/trash/pvp fights, one for searing totems, etc. I'm going to make some changes though, redropping the totems that last 5 mins is a waste of mana, so im gonna make a separate button for all groundings, a sequenced earthbind, and some fire totem buttons... I love sequencing shaman spells :)
