Really easy guys did him with my regular team, and also with 4 locks(4 players total) geared in partial greens, 300k hp life just got dots on him and was running around letting voids slowly pick him up.

They're telling me you just have to go to BRD and talk to the spy, no lead-in quest this year.

Okay yep. Go to BRD, hang a right, kill the Dark Iron jerks. Click the mole machine console and pull the lever.
When you get to the bar, talk to the Brewfest Spy. The rest (Insult Coren Direbrew) is self-explanatory.

That's correct, just get to the bar and the pick up the daily quest in there.

It really is easy, I also brought my characters at 77 to do it, and they were just barely set up. My 77 hunter kept sitting and standing throughout the fight, I'm still trying to figure out why :).

I just kept my lock, tank and one other in there the entire time, and rotated the other two characters. No healer required if your tank has somewhat decent gear.

The loot is tasty. Something for everyone, but most of it is the attack power trinket.

That one's cool because her presence, in addition to her running around meleeing with a spotlight over her head, she also acts like an extra healing totem; healed 139 every 2 seconds, or something.

Someone also linked a dagger... Direbrew's Shanker 2.0 or something. Those of you who were old rogues and farmed up a Barman Shanker know what that's all about. Same graphic as before too ^_^ and about 143 DPS

His cake, after running around in there for 30 minutes getting my key, I read the forums to find that all you got to do is beat up the guys to the right when you come in doh! I got the trinket (tank one) and one of those others that give you spell power which is cool.

i just did it 5 times, easy as pie , spread your guys out so they don't get hit by the big drill and nuke away.

I actually parked my slaves backed into the corner pretty close to my tank and the boss. Sure they got hit by the drill but the add that came out got sucked right in my the consecrate.

today I did however get Direbrew's Remote ...very happy about not having to do the whole Dalaran to Iron Forge to Iron Point....ect....will make the daily slaughter less time consuming

same here. Running him now for 5 days. Got both stamina trinkets on all 5 chars, shankers and eggs and shit, 2 remotes but no bloody mount! :((:(

edit: I can farm him 5 times a day while waking/half asleep up in the morning. I hope the horseman will be as easy

I have 9 80s on 5 different accounts so I actually kill him 9 times a day.

So far I have gotten every trinket
2 Rams 2 Kodos
2 Remotes
2 Tankards o Terror (sell for 2k each on my server)

Funny thing is when he drops the mounts he always drops both of them at the same time.

Having two remotes is nice becuase I used to have to blast two teams in now I just drill them in.

Been farming for mounts (only one so far). He's pretty easy, I have even taken him out with a mixed bag of my toons minus a healer! Just burn him. Have 3 remotes now... nice for when I want to hang out in BRD.

I gave up on selling the Tankards (3 and counting)... either going to have to level and mace spec my rogue (why?) or start converting my shamans over to enhancement... or maybe dual wield on DKs? Too bad they didn't give Coren weapons that are viable for more than one spec of one class. I guess I should expect things like this by now and be happy the maces don't have Agi/Spirit? :D

FInal Update - I got so bored I was running in members of my level 71 DK team for trinkets. I think they should allow the trinktes to be turned in for brewfet tokens...

Grand total - 10 Tankards, something like 14 to 16 remotes (all 80s have them and a few 71s), 3 Shanker 2.0, 4 Kodos, 3 Rams, 1 billion useless trinkets.

Is it possible to do it with 5 shammies, or do you need a tank? I wouldn't mind getting some upgrades for my original 'main' shammy (79 atm) but she's on the same account as my tank (Clotte). I couldn't do him last year with the 5 but they weren't too geared like they are now.

I did it on my five shaman team, but two of the five shamans died. I didn't use any trinkets, or heroism, but I did pop five Earth Elementals. You could probably do it with less. One of the five shamans was spamming chain heal on the earth elementals (instead of my lightning macros), and all five would Flame Shock and lava burst.

It wasn't particularly pretty, but it was doable first try. You could probably get away with less Earth Elementals and do more runs in a 20 minute span.

Armory Arlassa on server The Scryers. She's the best geared of my shamans, and she's not even that great geared. So I'm sure you can do it.

I did opt to bring a guildy tank and healer along for all my future runs, just because it's easier, and I have a warlock team I'm doing the summons on, too. I'm trying to get Arlassa her Ram and Kodo. So far, of the three of us, there are two rams and one Kodo, but poor 'lassa hasn't received any of them :p

Needless to say, i'm raising my druid team up for bear tanking purposes for Hallow's Eve. Sick of relying on others for RNG lameness.

I run him every day 5 times and i only got 3 kodos and one ram. an a shit load of trinkets I couldn't even DE.

I hope the horseman is more generous in giving me his horse :)

I ran Direbrew ... um, a lot, not every chance I could, but nearly so. Came out of it with x number of remotes and y number of trinkets that I also don't give a damn about, and 3 kodos and 1 ram. The gf got the ram, so my mount-whore toon came up short this year. Darn it. Said toon already has the Headless Horseman's mount so that's pretty much it for seasonal drops 'til 2010.

re: the HH mount ... I ran it last year every chance I could, with nine toons total (my main team, gf's hunter, and some other 70s of mine), and got it to drop once. It's a pretty tough one.
