I'm kind of at a lost for words here. Within one week of hitting level 80 the same account of mine has now been banned twice! First time last friday, and now today. I mean seriously, first time I thought it was because I had traded 4k gold around my accounts and ofcourse I got it unbanned. But this time I dont even have a clue why this would happen, not a clue.

Unless the account has been hacked, which I find HIGHLY unlikely as all my accounts would "probably" have been compromised, I havn't done anything other then do a few instances and dailys.

If it wasnt so damned annoying I would be laughing my ass off because this is just unbeliveable.

Same as last time, I got suspened for "Type of Violation: Involvement in online trading activities". I just orded a authenticator yesterday so I would be sure as to not run into any issues regarding that. However like I said, I find it weird that it was only one account, and the same one at that.

Yeah I would, but it's 1:38am here and I'm at work :)
I did send them an email, and I'll call em when they open up their call center at 10:30am after I get home. But another weekend where I dont have to work and my account got banned again, hehe d'oh!

Sounds to me like you nuked a GM playing a normal character ;)

No, I'm sure they're much more professional than that......

Let us know how this goes - what happens to one of us could potentially happen to all of us and I'm sure we'd all be interested to hear if Blizz are able to offer any explanation at all.

I'm sure we're all equally certain of just how likely that is though......

I suspect you ran into someone who reported you with certain keywords in the complaint. A cursory examination of your account might have confirmed one or two details and that was enough for a temporary ban while further investigation ensues.

I'm at a loss for any other explanation assuming you're telling us the whole story (and I have no reason to think you wouldn't be ;)). I've long wondered if there were "trigger" phrases you could report someone with that would result in an immediate, if temporary, ban on the other party. I'm wondering if Oltecs is at least partially right about GM involvement in the report. :P

If you haven't already, I'd follow the poster's suggestion in your previous ban thread and petition a GM to make a note in your files for your accounts that you're a multiboxer so they'll at least flavor their investigation(s) with a modicum of restraint. ;)

One thing to never ever do is respond with anything like gold, farming or Chinese. All you need to say is you enjoy playing multiple toons and point them here for more info. Saying you would rather play with yourself is probably not a good way to put things either.

Why do you multibox?

Because I got sick of not having anyone help me actually try to win the BG, this way I have 3 who always will.

That's pretty much my default answer lol, so it's kinda along the lines of I like to play by myself :P And farming gold too is a lot easier.

Well, I got my account back once again. This time however I recieved a email stating that
"Please be aware that the removal of this suspension is not to be taken lightly and should further issues arise with regards to your account in the future, this incident will be taken into consideration when determining the consequences to your account."

Like it's my fault or some such? The lady on the phone wouldn't give me any details about the reason I got banned other then it was the same incident i got banned for the last time. And atleast last time after a couple of days i got an apology for the inconvenience. Kinda annoyed me to be honest as I've done NOTHING wrong.

dang man, that's really bogus of them... they should have at least given you an explanation. Hope this is the last of the trouble for you

Save ALL of your documentation that you have on this. Get names of people you talked to and note times you talked to them. Write down EVERYTHING. That way if this happens again, you have all this information that they can verify on their side.

Call in an ask for a supervisor

Strange that it's only one account getting hit. You'd think if you were doing an exploit or something bad, they'd ban all of the accounts, not just one.

I'd write in to the GM feedback e-mail, and ask for clarification of why the account was banned. That e-mail goes to the GM supervisor.

Are you sure your account(s) are'nt compromised? Have you run all of the scans you can? Have you checked on other realms for level one characters?

And, the one I'm most curious about, are you running tunneling services? That seems to trigger a lot of bans, in the Customer Service Forum there was a wave of them recently.

Yeah Gad, that's what I found strange too, one account out of five getting banned, for online trading activities? I can see why there are so many gold sellers in the game now if they only ban one account at a time =\

Like I mentioned earlier in the threat I ordered an authenticator, just to make sure I wouldn't have any trouble in the future with my accounts being hacked, hopefully it'll help.

And I'm not using a VPN or anything the like, so I doubt that was it either.

I've determined through my own dealings with Blizzards first- tier customer service, that this is where they funnel 2/3 the people with learning disabilities, ADHD, Typical Asshole Syndrome, and such. I've been called ignorant over the phone, hung up on, had a blizzard employee reset my password after calling in about an e-mail/address problem and then promptly hang up on me....I've taken to getting names and ID Numbers from them when possible saved me some headache on my last problem.
Their next levels of "Sepcialized" service tends to be much more helpful.
But then again I have terrible luck when calling in for service with any game....Shit magnet....

Haha driz maybe it's not them... :P

Kidding of course, I'm so glad I haven't had any issues requiring me to call customer service, because I have exactly the same luck, I always get the guy that seems really new, and doesn't have a clue about fixing the problem I'm having but seems to know how to make an entirely new one that he can fix for me :P
