What's the best route for 60-80 (1xPal4xSha vs 5xSha)

Hey all!

I currently have a 5-man shaman team that is about to hit level 60 (58.8 right now) and I'm looking to setup my next step. Ultimately, my goal is to have a 1x -Pally/4x-Shaman team so I can do instances/heroics/etc without having to put a team together. I have a level 30 Paladin that I will be gifting to 60 very soon.

I've never had a char higher than 60, so I don't know anything about the content from 60-80 and the fastest way to get to 80.

So my question to you multi-boxing experts is do I:

A) Continue to play the 5-man shaman team and get them to 80, then boost the Paladin to 80

- OR -

B) Start using the Paladin at level 60 with my 4 Shaman?

Also, from what I've read, I know I will eventually need one of my Shaman to be Resto (they are all Elemental right now). When will I need to make that change-over?

well i think it depends on what you like to do and what your goals for the group are.

If your looking to PvP with them then 5 shaman would be what i'd do, for heroics and PvE you will want Pally/Shaman.

I perfer to level my teams up together, so my PvE team is always leveled up as the team. This help prevents them from being on different quests or being affected by the Phasing that is used in Northrend.

Again this is all personal Preference, and some people like to boost their toons. I personally prefer to quest, so i don't have to grind so much rep out, and can make TONNEs of money doing it.

so level up which ever way you will have the most ejoyment from. If you haven't seen the zone's in outlands, then i'd quest and do the instances when you have to go for quests.

Well its up to ur personal taste tbh..
I would go 4 shaman and one prot pally. Then u could do heroics and get emblems and pve gear, pluss u can go 4 shaman in arena etc..

5 shaman right now is kind of useless. I want to do it just for BG fun, but that's all they can do. You will get pwned in arena controlling all 5 and you can't do heroics with 5 shaman... so thats about it, BGs. You can't deny that 5 fire elementals running around is pure awesome though.
