I've tried a few variants and it's all addicting no matter what 2 characters i decide to use. Just wanted to get some tips and advice on what 2 characters I should start with. Warrior/ priest? Warrior/Shaman? Shaman/Shaman? Druid/Shaman?
So many choices but from the experienced multi boxers i would like opinions on the best 2 toons to start with, what class and what spec to level them both.

All help is appreciated and ty in advance :)
This took WoW to a whole new level for me and made the game fun again!!

What do you want to achieve with these two characters?

For simplicity it's good to box two of the same class. It used to be casters were easier to multibox, but recent changes mean that melee are just as viable.

When they are 80 what do you want to do with the chars? PVP? Play them together in PVE. Or do you want to play them solo, in which case having two seperate classes would be better.

Without knowing more about what you want these characters for it's difficult to make recommendations.

You can't really go wrong with 2 elemental shaman though. They can deal damage, have a load of situational abilities with totems, wear mail at higher levels so can take a hit or two. They can res. They can heal without dropping out of a form.

tbh you are better off running with two charcters you like to play.
If i was limited to dual boxing i would probably run one of the following combinations:
2x hunters
2x locks
2x druid
2x shaman
2x mage
paladin/lock

Hmm.. I think I'll start with two elemental shamans untill i learn to play with the boxing a little better.
I also need to find a way to make my slave accept the quests my master accepts.
Switching screens is getting all but tiresome :/

Check in the addons section - there is an addon called Jamba, which does so much useful stuff, including quest handling.

It seems a bit daunting to me to integrate it into my setup now - (probably not as painful as I think it will be), but
by all accounts it is a godsend for Boxers.

My favorite pair has always been hunter/shammy. SUPER EZ

I set it up and learned to utilize it within an hour. Thanks for the tip. It isn't as bad as you think, seems pretty versatile.

Didnt want to make a new post when I have basically the same question.

I am set on a warrior, but was wondering if a shaman or a paladin would be a better second character.

I mostly plan on doing PvE stuff, and just like doing instances solo if possible. PvP is not nearly as important to me, but it still matters a little.

I've googled and all that, and everything seems to come up with arena information, saying paladin warrior = win. But there isn't a lot of info out there in regards to pve as far as I can see. Any advice/reasons for choices would be much apreciated.

Don't think you could go wrong with either of those honestly if you're talking about PvE. If you weren't talking about potential healers it would be a different story. Both Pally & Shaman bring excellent group buffs as well as versatility.

Personally - I'd take the pally as the buffs are more of the set & forget style vs. the totems which you'll have to drop & recall constantly.

kind of what I am thinking too. I got my war and shaman to 66 but the totems are more of a hassle than anything and only really use them on tougher fights. Started a pally/mage which I've been using with RaF, will get the pally higher and see how it goes.

Thanks for the input

Anyone else have any recommendations?
