is there any way to find out my computer's specs without opening it up? shouldnt it same somewhere in a properties panel?

go to start/run and type dxdiag

Also you can right click your computers "My Computer" icon on your desktop or your start menu and select Properties and then on the fist tab that opens up it will show your processor speed and memory. :)
