Hi guys.
I've been multiboxing for a while now (lvl 65 on 2nd team), and never really had too many issues, other than macros etc, which I have found everything I need of here..
However, after buying a new computer a few months ago, a lot of things have gotten laggy.
Obvious places are Dala and WG fortress during battle, where framerate can drop down to 1-2fps.
Right now, standing still in WG with no people around, my main is running 23 fps and all my slaves (4) are running on 10 (as locked by Keyclone)
All the graphics settings are on minimum, and I get that I sholdn't expect top performance, especially not in WG and Dala, but I think my computer should be able to perform a little better than that.
Here's the setup:
Dell XPS630i, intel Q9400, 4Gb ram, Vista Ultimate 32bit, 5 x Samsung Spinpoint F1 1Tb (2 of which are connected to a Jmicron PCIe-SATA card), Nvidia Geforce GTX285 with 2 samsung 24" widescreen monitors.
On the main screen I am running 1x WoW at 1900x1200 minimum graphics, and on the other 4x WoW at 720x576, minimum graphics..
I also have a high speed memory stick in one of the USB2.0 ports acting as a 2gb Readyboost, in addition to the 4gb page file on my "D" drive.
Why does this setup still lag so badly, I've tried so many things now, and I'm running out of ideas..
