Does anyone have a link to the Windows 7 RC. I know its only a month away but I would like to try it before I commit to purchasing it. Microsoft is no longer allowing downloads but they will provide keys. Kinda silly but whatever. I just trust everyone here a little more than I trust a torrent site or whatever.

I would be extremely cautious about getting it from a torrent site :/ One day your bowling merrily along using Windows 7, then the next thing you know pics of your gf ar on the web and your cat is knocked up. Not worth it.

If you are not familiar with torrent and computer security than you would be best to stay away from it. If you are careful and wary of the consequences you should alright. I have one computer isolated from the rest that I use for gaming, torrent and other nefarious deeds........

Unless you grab it from MS or somewhere like download.com there are no guarantees or very little.

Good advice, I don't torrent much, but I keep my anti-virus, spyware updated, OS patched etc... I've heard some torrent sites are less safe than others.

BTW, "other nefarious deeds........" :D

I don't know if distributing the RC ISOs is against any Microsoft terms / licenses since Microsoft no longer offers the downloads. So unless someone can show it is, please don't link to any torrents here.

I don't think its against their terms as they are still providing new keys to folks. They just pulled it off of their downloads as their finished product is scheduled for release right around the corner. That is my opinion anyways. I usually test anything that involves an install thru VMWare just in case and that has been a lifesaver on many occasions.
