Went and bought an AMD Phenom II 955 today and a Gigabyte GA-MA790X-UDP4 on the way to work. So now I'm stuck here at work for another 6 hours. Aaaarrrrgggghhhhhh!!!!
Its agony I tell ya!!
Replacing an AMD 4200+ and a Gigabyte board that I'm not sure what the model is. I'll be using my existing 8600GT for now and my 6GB of ram. I'll probably upgrade both of those in a couple weeks.
One of my teams is at 65 and I wanted to upgrade before Northrend.

Got home put it all together and installed Win 7.
Decided to try 5 boxing out on it. Was flying around outland and my cpu load was at 50%. Thought that was a bit high then I realized all 5 WoW clients were running at 60fps. Granted the graphics were cranked down all the way but I though 60fps x 5 flying in outland was doing pretty good.
Was going to upgrade the video card and RAM but now my heater core is going out so I've got a $700 shop bill to look forward too.

Almost tempted to replace one of my old AMD boards with this setup. Let me know how it all pans out.

Im guessing you did not set you core affinity as it looks like you are only using 2/4 cores

I gotta tell you some cars these days you might as well be taking the whole engine apart. I just replaced the Air condition Condenser fan motor. I had to remove the whole friggin housing which was wrapped around the condenser itself luckily I did not have to disconnect any lines.
Do not get me started on the passenger side headlight bulb.........

LoL yeah and the engineers that thought a waterpump in side the block was a great idea too.

Its a 2005 Grand Cherokee. The heater core is in the middle of the HVAC box which can only be accessed by pulling the entire dash and steering column out. Then when you put it all back together you get to recharge the A/C.
Its an all day job plus $100 or for parts, plus a couple hundred for the A/C. So I'll be into it a few hundred doing it myself. For a few hundred more I'll let them get aggravated by it.

I have to check into that tonight. By the time I got everything done and up and running it was about bed time.

Yeah this would be a biggie. I use to separate the core affinity but now just assign all cores too all clients and let the computer sort it out.
