I have been watching the videos in the movie section and on some, during boss fights, special attack messages, like for example Keleseth's "Frost Tomb" will appear on the screen, saying "PlayerX hit by Frost Tomb".
Is this a mod?
I rather like the idea of those attacks being so visible so you can react on them in time.

I wanna say Deadly Boss Mods maybe. This should tell you when certain things are happening. And I think Jamba has stuff to tell you when clones are being attacked.

Deadly boss mods is good stuff. will give you bars / raid warnings for boss abilities / etc.

Thanks I'll try out Deadly Boss Mod.
Basically I am getting close to having my entire UI and addon selection set up as I want it:
Bartender4, PitBull, Jamba, Elk, Recount, Omen, Questhelper, Auctioneer, Cartographer, Gatherer
Only thing missing is more information in respect to damage and attacks.
Deadly Boss Mod sounds like the way to go in respect to warnings and boss information in combat situations.
But I am also considering a combat text mod either Mik's or Parrot.
As I understand it Parrot offers throttling but with Mik's you can display the entire party's cooldowns on the master screen as alert messages. Both should be configurable to show the entire party's damage and not just the master's.

Actually, with Deadly Boss Mods, you can track party cooldowns. It's an extra package called "Spell Timers", which will put up a count-down for spells you tell it to watch.
You can also try Party Ability Bars. I'm finding Mik great for alerts, but you start throwing too many things down in the triggers and you start missing things.

Ah! Fantastic thank you for the heads up.
I just downloaded DBM so I will certainly try out the count-down feature for party abilities.

Witchhunt picks up these sorts of things as well. Useful mod but prone to spam.
