Hello everybody, I recently dinged my 5 orc shamies to 80 thanks to the new pvp honor system that made life easier to xp and gather honor simultaneously (cause we - multiboxers - love doing simultaneous actions :thumb: ).
Anyways, to the core..

So I have 3/5 deadly gladi items so far, that's the shoulder, the chest and the legs along with Berserker and Illusion darkmoon cards on all my toons. They all hold a 200 spell power staff and their hp is 14k. In alterac valley, I am dealing pretty well, because I have the option to have the initiative in all my battles unlike arena where the opponent is already aware that he is facing 5 people.
The problem is, I am getting so lost in arena, I really don't know who to focus first, who to kill and I don't even hex at all.
I'v tried with an imba disc priest and 2 restoration shamies and all they said was "lol when u gather lootz come w me kktnx".
The fault is all mine, cause I'm duying like a bug.
Can someone PLEASE, help me?

I want to know how YOUR keyboard layout is, and what macros you use. Also how you assist and last of all IF you are using PiP to change focus or just change focus by just moving your mouse to the appropriate screen.
I feel like moron, dying so fast cause I am the reason for giving multiboxing a bad reputation.
I want some tactics, openings in arena, etc.. Anything you can give.
Thank you so very much for any proper reply guys/ladies.

I dont do pvp but 2 things Ive picked up on from your post. Firstly 14k hp is not enough to go to arena and do anything serious. Secondly shammy should use a mainhand and shield. If you can get shields and get HP up to somewhere around 19k, then you are somewhere near ready to start winning occasional games.

By the way here's a list of what everyone wear.
>>>All my toons wear these items with same enchants and gems:

Deadly Gladiator's Mail Armor with +46 res rating +23 spell power
Deadly Gladiator's Mail Leggings with +40 resi +23 spell power +52 stam

(+50 resi bonus for these 2 items)

Deadly Gladiator's Ringmail Spaulders with +30 stam and +35 res rating.

Darkmoon Card: Illusion
Darkmoon Card: Berserker!

and 2 Titanium Spellshock Necklace with +10 all stats on 2 guys and 1 Titanium Spellshock Ring with +10 all stats.

I gather mats to craft Titansteel Guardian on all of them so they should only have to spend 300 AP for the Relentless Gladiator's Barrier shield. (Atm holding this sucky Staff of the Purposeful Mendicant wich was a quest reward for them all..

I don't bother to put the rest of items cause they suck, greens and blues like the staff.

All use these glyphs:

Majors:
Glyph of Lava
Glyph of Chain Lightning
Glyph of Elemental Mastery

and

Minors:
Glyph of Water Shield
Glyph of Ghost Wolf
Glyph of Water Walking

Stats for all(approx):
353 res
6330 armor
928 bonus damage

Thank you for reading this, hope you can help me short things out.
*Farewell*

Your problem is going to be gear.

EVERYONE in arenas is geared these days, and its tough for newcomers. Trust me I feel ya, I'm almost 80 on my warlock arena team... not lookin forward to gearing them up.... well... kinda

KEEP DOING ARENA GAMES EVERY WEEK. Queue with 5 shamans and lose if you have to, but keep doing 10 games. Its good practice, and those points will prove very handy down the road. Also, working on your deadly set is a good idea. Keep it up! Use titansteel maces + shield until you get better weapons... no staves.

As far as macros and setup... too much information to list tbh. PVP with them for weeks/months and TRULY get the feel for it. Then all the pvp/arena threads will make more sense. There are tons of good threads floating around about macros and setup so do some digging. If you have specific questions, I'll be more than happy to help.

Man I have already read nearly all your posts and you was one of the guys I wanted to see his opinion about my problem. Should I keep pvping with them 5 or just the 4 I will use for arena ? Thanks in advance and for all the times you will help me bud. In my realm I met another multiboxer today (didn't knew there was another one) and he had same problems in arena. He didn't even had a 5v5 team, but anyways, I see all of you veteran multiboxers are like "Shyt im low in 1700-1800 rating :(" so that should be the true - assuming one is geared- and that's all.

One more question: If I do arena, and getting pwned.. then my rating keeps being zero. Will i get any points for zero rating?

You will get points win or loose, you only need to win if you want the rating to buy higher lvl (furious) areana gear.

yes you will get points for 0 rating. as long as you have played 10 games. i dont think you have to zone in to the 10 games though to make them count. (dont quote me on it though)

if you have some friend playing a tank then convince him to run HCs with you. there is a shield for badges that will be ok to start with. there is also some mace that is crafted. dont remeber the name..

The mace you are probably talking is the one I already spoke about -> Titansteel Guardian
As for the HCs, which ones do you guys run ?

For solely PVP, I feel 5 toons has no advantage, and 4 is completely sufficient (I used to be a 5boxer, dropped 1 account and never looked back). 5 can start to be a pain because you'll have to musical chairs your toons for arena, which can jumble the personal ratings a bit.

Back to arena talk, Gear is step #1 yes, but please don't get into arena boxing thinking its a free 2k team. Too high of expectations will lead to disappointment and burnout. Success above 1800 takes great setup/macros, a great partner, and mostly - SHIT TONS of practice (I've been playing since season2). Keep pursuing any gear upgrades you can get, as that is the TIME limiting factor, but poor playstyle will hold you back even worse than gear.

Its not impossible obviously - but it takes a tireless commitment, tons of patience, and adjustments. If you find yourself beating your head against the wall, CHANGE something up. Keep in mind you are 80% of the team... so every little tweak can bring about BIG increases in success.

well i do all of the Hc's, usually ignoring oculus.. to much hassal. i suggest you start with hmm UK/HoL/Gundrak. thous are fairly easy imo.

/Edit
There is a sticky with tactics for most of them if you take a look in the pve forum.

I tested some arena games to see what its like now days. it was fun and enlightening. i suggest you keep stacking up gear. i have roughly 20k hp 2k sp in my hateful pvp gear and i do ok for not have been playing arena seriously from S3. (4W-6L, 1 loss was me not turning on keybroadcasting so slaves just stood there watching the fun. lol)

A little tip, you need Hit/Spell Penetration also for pvp.
You need to support heal some times. (at least that is my experience)
Not sure +10 all stats is the way to go when gemming your gear out. I have been stacking res, sp and spell penetration/hit. but that is my opinion.
A little comfort is that you will survive longer the better gear you get.
And as Asonimie says. Dont give up. Learning curve can be long sometimes. But you really need to practice to get better at it.

You'll get owned until you have at least 19k hp and 700 resilience.
Well even then you'll get owned by a lot of classes

can barely keep myself alive with 21.5k hp and 830 resil against 4-5 people

You get the same number of arena points (344), for doing your 10 games a week, as a 1500 rated team, even at 0 rating.
