Looking for some insight on group choices (2man mostly)

Okay, my main goal is to level up another char to group with my 80 hunter. so what i am thinking about is a Paly on second account to eventually group with hunter ... but for leveling up have a pally and shaman combo ...

occasionally my wifes hunter will group up with us as well ... so would there be a bad side to having a pally as the main for eventually 2 hunters? ...

as i get the hang of using macros and such (used to alt+tab) i will eventually level up some more hunters (or druids) to go with my set ...

about the only classes i have played has been DPS classes other then having a druid healbot that i use with my hunter currently ... so this is really my first time to take both chars into consideration for dps as well as other abilities. which is why i am reading the forum, and open for discussion to see if there is something i am overlooking.

Hunter and Pally go together amazingly well due to both using mostly instant abilities with very similar CD's. No macro's required apart from assist, just pair off the CD's.

As for leveling with a Pally, Shammy could go well, but I had a lot of fun with a mage... run in aggro everything, consecrate, swap to the mage and AoE everything.

Yeah i have seen 2 mages do some amazing AOE grinding. But my favorite combo is hunter / shammy. I think the two classes make a great combo. They both have ranged attack and you always got a healer.

i never could get the hang of a mage for some reason ... but may try out one. doing the RaF thing so will level up several pairs of chars before it expires ...

think i will stick with the pally shaman and see which one i like more between the two ... then will try them out with my hunter once they are within level range ...

after trying a few setups over the past day or so ... i have decided for now i am going to stick with two of the same class till i get the hang of having full control of both chars at the same time ...

pally and shaman with pally as main ... was hard to keep aggro off the shaman because of it's damage in the lower levels ... so i switched over to two shaman ... and eventually will group one of them with my hunter and my wife's hunter

two warlocks tho .. rock! ... got two gnome warlocks up to their voidwalkers ... have my lead with the VW and imp on slave char .. and working great.

macro's still blow my mind though hah .. need to read up more on conditionals and such for reducing the number of hotkeys i am hitting.
