Hey everyone!
My shammy team is currently halfway to 66 so its almost time to upgrade them to wrath so i have one quick question...
What should i do to level as fast as possible?
I see alot of posts about getting run thru Shattered halls and doing AV. All that sounds awesome but what would be the path to take?
Im at work right now but i will keep checking back throughout the day so please let me know what you guys think as you have already made the grind.

I hit 66 on my shaman and went into AV almost exclusively.
Hit 68 in AV and went and did a load of the starter quests in Northrend to gear up a bit more for BG's.
This will get you a level or 2, so you may only have to level 70-71 in AV with the lower XP levels.
From 71 - 80 I lived in AV with brief forays to try questing before going straight back in there.
If you are on a server and faction where you have no queue times for AV this works well.
(so long as you aren't getting hammered by the opposition every game).
Maybe it was because I was having fun - but 71-80 flew by for me in there.
(mind you having dinged 3 times in a day through AV alone sure helped -but that was a long day :) )

I suggest you do the Nagrand quests. This will get you to 68 easily and you can then head to northrend. If you hate questing then go do Old Hillsbrad and Black Morass.

Depends on how many times you have done the quests in Northrend. If they are a complete bore due to running so many toons through them to 80; the path through AV seems to be one of the better ways to go.
If however, you like to quest; stay in Outlands until 68-70; personally I like to stay until 70 as it allows me to transition into the instances as the quests first appear. Move to Northrend and then mix quests with instance runs with AV at 71.

Thanks guys, appreciate the quick responses. I havent boxed toons to 80 before but i have leveled plenty of solo chars so i think i will quest til 68 and then Northrend quests til 71 then off to av, mixing in instances etc..

I would not venture into northrend till 68-69, its just not worth it imo. Hit up netherstorm I loved those quests and theres alot of them, as well as nagrand.

I was 60-70 before that patch, I did A LOT of questing and a few mana tomb runs (probably 12 total) till 68, then went to northrend. leveled and geared up in northrend then moved straight to AV at 70-80.
I'm now doing instances and doing the quests for them and making a lot of gold

No easy upgrades to the landslide buckler until level 68-70 northrend stuff, unless you want something without spellpower. If you don't care about losing the spellpower, then run mana tombs first boss Pandemonius (http://www.wowhead.com/?npc=18341). You could always search the AH every so often for a slightly better shield than landslide as well, but really not worth the time.
