trick I learned: to assist: in a macro

/Select [%Group1]
/skill Select Target's Target

(the example in game for assist doesn't actually work; while the above does!)

ps: ignore what I say, there was someone in the channel ranting forever about how he had 0 money yet wanted to play aion - after I had spent time explaining to him he could upgrade his integrated graphic card, so I may sound a bit harsh/annoyed when I say, out of context in this clip, "if you have no money you can't play aion"

Moorea do you believe it would be possible to play Aion with more than just two characters at once? I'm all for dualboxing MMO's, but having your own full group is teh win.

I wouldn`t box it I think. Playing the beta now and going to play on release as well. Thing is that the game depends a lot on pvp. So if you run a pve team, well you could see why pvp isn`t going to work then :-)

Ah and a full group is 6chars so even more payment:(

Yes full group is 6 and right now there is no way to software box it (though I somehow had HKN work briefly but I haven't been able to make it work again since - maybe GameGuard was temporarily down...) right now I 2 box by having my heal bot on follow and hitting the macro key on my other computer once per fight, twice when I aggro lots of mobs or harder mobs (macro does 1 smite and 1 heal) - ie back to my old style (before I found this site) dual boxing by hand and that wouldn't scale to larger groups at all - 2 is the max for that I think (maybe 3?). There are also a number of collection quests so I don't think I'd be sane 5 or 6 boxing. Also I have no idea how many instances/dungeons there are actually - I dual box it to get quickly both a healer and a tank/dps but I will probably solo them at end game



ps1: yes I and everybody knows about gameguard evilness no need to put aion hate in all threads as a result - it's your right to not want to play a game but no need to repeat it in all the threads thx

ps2: I suspended my wow subs; the first one stopped yesterday and the rest will end around begining oct so I hope AION is solid (or I will resume wow) - I will play in cataclysm though as that xpac seems awesome
