So, since I have all the heroics on farm I decided to go try the arena.

I'm 2-24 (those 2 wins were against idiots), and am looking for input.

I'm doing 3v3, and have my druid as resto with 850 resil and 2 elemental shammies in mostly pve gear, they only have about 150 resil (19k hp, 2k +spell, 30% crit, 8% haste, 184 hit)

I open with the IWIN combo in another thread here (target one person, but attacking focus with elemental mastery, flame shock, lava burst), sometimes I drop the guy right away, but usually don't, and my magma's/thunderstorms on close in melee targets don't seem to do much to them.

Matchmaking scores for the teams I lost to have been from 800 to 1000, I'm around 600 right now.

while I know I'm running into teams that are rebuilding since Season 7 just opened, but I would have expected to have done a bit better.

So I am looking for any advice experienced Arena multiboxers have in the 3v3 category, it seems to be a nukefest.

I am considering changing from resto to boomkin and run without any healer, but not convinced I'll see much difference.

I'm not interested in doing 5s due to the perception I have of less teams in that bracket.

its hard to stay alive with 24k hp and 850 resil. I cant even imagine what horrid things they would do to you.

I would go boomkin. The majority of my wins were from nuking someone in the opening seconds of the match. If that initial burst did not kill, I either had a loss or barely pulled out a win.

I did arenas with my shamans because I needed some starter arena gear and was too lazy to farm BGs.

Basically I was unable to survive in 2 v 2 and 3 v3.
5 vs 5 was another story.

In 5 vs 5 with 5 elemental shamans I usually was able to drop one or two from the other team before they even were able to react. After that it is just an easy ride.

Of course, I have got my fair share of loses, but most of them were funny in some way. Once got swarmed by 5 frost mages with water elemental and that mage clone spell... I just stayed there and healed myself until they killed me. Was so amazed by the lots of frostbolts flying around that I forgot to fight back :)

Nobody is queing up for 5s in my battlegroup. Multiple times last week i tried 5s only to bored for 45 min.

I must have gotten lucky last night I played 19 games and all queues popped in 30 seconds, and I never got the same team twice.

I was able to hit 1075 in 3v3 so far, and im still mostly hateful with a few furious / deadly here and there. 19k hp's unbuffed. I would def go boomkin and blow someone up on the inc.

BTW, You have a pally healing your 5's right? If he doesn't have a 3's team he should play a few games with me and Bodhisage. We went like 18-9 with a hateful/deadly pally from our guild. Just ran some games cuz we're not having luck finding anyone. With a furious/relentless healer we could easily go 2200+ We were beating 1900 teams last night like it was a joke. We're running wizard cleave. Let him know for me :).

The paly me is sina from the site, I think he is done with WoW now though. I have a paly healer and a priest healer, I usually mix it up and go with what works well. I think priest got some mega buffs recently they seem a lot more powerful as healers.

Ya. We wound up picking up a random priest from trade chat last night. 2 hateful 3 deadly 5 piece with all furious off set pieces and furious weapon. He's just coming back off of a 3-4 month break. Even so we're going about 70% w/l ratio at 2k mmr. We have high hopes for glad this season. As long as we keep facing scrub cleave teams that just try to train one of us we'll be fine. Almost always they leave one of us to free cast with heroism up. At that point it's pretty much gg.

Yea cleave are a 50/50 win for me but dam DK's are what makes the win or lose what is it that you usaly go for first? (warrior,DK,Priest,Holy Pally,Ench Shaman) what would you go for first? I keep trying to go for the ench shaman or the warrior....warrior pops reflect and last stand = :( no damage what to do what to do? :(

war pops last stand- shield/sword means he is doing very little dmg to you. Switch targets.... are you using your focus target to dps burst? If the other team knows who your guys are targeting they will cast early heals/defensive cooldowns.

Yea I dont have focus setup do you use a macro for it? as in target one target set to focus then target the next ?
