There is a long topic in the addon forum concerning /follow Maybe a IS Guru can shed some light on how to control follow'
What I am doing
1. I use 1 main toon and don't switch windows. When I drink, I have to wait until toon is done before changing to next toon to drink or the first toon stops.
2. I do not want the other toon to follow the alt unless the alt is in the main window. Would using the /click option help (where it asks to proceed normally or act like WoW not IS. I think there is 3 options.

Number one is easy since you use jamba just select in group the command to turn off follow while drinking that will allow all your characters to drink. Number 2 i have no clue but meh someone else will. So at least i gave you half help lol.

I use AutoBar so I have /click AutoBarButtonWaterFrame bound to a key to make all drink at once :/ I also have don't follow if drinking checked, like suicidespyder suggested.

I'm not really sure what you're saying, but here's what I think it sounds like you're looking for...

If you dont want ISBoxer to set the Jamba master and/or strobing when you switch windows, you can disable that and set a hotkey to do it manually. You can set a Hotkey for the mapped keys under Control, specifically the ones that say JambaMaster and Strobing. Then whichever character you want them to follow, switch to that window and hit the hotkey. You would disable the functionality when switching windows per Slot in your Character Set.

I understand what you are saying, and I have a key set that I hold and click on the slave window when I want to swap windows. It is the follow when not switching that is the problem. I will test the Jamba part after I get home and the servers come back up. Still loving the ease of the FTL and the clear method used for DPS keys, no macros needed.

I changed Jamba and the change of window still makes the other toon stop drinking and stand up. Tried turning strobing off with IS key (alt-cntl-F).

It has to be IS that changes follow when clicking on alt's window. I will look at the setting with ISBoxer tomorrow.

Strange enabling stop follow on drink works great for me. Of course if you switch to an Alt while you are drinking this breaks is that what you are talking about?

Exactly. I think the option I want is in ISboxer, maybe the MouseClick dropdown box

If you don't want it to switch following when you switch characters, you're going to need to change the Mapped Key that gets used each time you switch characters. It sounds like you have the full-featured one, but if you're going to be drinking and switching characters and wanting it not to start following you when you switch, then you are going to need to drop the follow on switch. This can be done by either running the quick setup wizard again and NOT checking the follow+strobing options, or change it per Slot in your Character Set to just "JambaMaster" or such instead of Follow + Master + Strobe.

I fully understand that you normally want it but would like to temporarily disable that, and I'll be sure to add support in the future. Until then if you want this kind of control you will need to manually have them follow, or just not drink+switch :)

/BUMP for support to temporarily disable FOLLOW

You are very close, and it might be the way I understand things. I have it so I have to hold a key to swap windows. I don't want follow to happen unless I swap windows. It affects many things, like the main is hitting a mob and the mapped key doesn't do what is needed, like attack on alt without stopping it on main. The drinking/follow is also a pain. Still best program I have tried for myself and limited macro skill/interest.

Um dude...

/jamba-follow stobeoff all

That turns the follow off, then you have a 2nd key to follow again (or you can hit the PIP hotkey again I believe).

is this different than pressing shift-alt-F ? I will try anything,
