Greetings everyone, I have been multi-boxing three accounts for around five months now. I have spent numerous hours researching and studying all the various methods of accomplishing a successful multi-box experience. And I'm proud to say that this site has proven to be an invaluable resource for all things multi-boxing. So I'd like to first thank each and everyone of you for your committment, passion, and time you have donated to this facet of gaming.

And now I feel I have progressed as far as I can using simple scripts to assist, follow, dps, heal, etc I am now searching for more information using Hotstrings. Thus far everything I've wanted to know how to do I have found a wiki, or a FAQ, videos on youtube, etc for everything except a beginners guide to hotstrings. I have read what material I can find on the subject but so far it seems that all I've found feel like I've stepped into a conversation that I was not attending from the start. Or the material feels like I should have read 'the beginners manual' beforehand. I apparently can't seem to find the roadsigns pointing to the beginning of the hotstring learning curve ;)

I would like to expand my gameplay to five accounts and I know that in order to be successful I will need to be more knowledgeable of advanced multi-boxing techniques, and this no doubt will require the use of hotstrings. So if I have missed the wiki, FAQ, or some other resource on this topic could someone please point me in the right direction?

I currently use Keyclone and Jamba to manage my activities. I play a pally tank, and two mages primarily and have several other teams for various activites. All on one machine thus far, but plan to add the necessary hardware/software once I feel like I've become proficient in the basics.

Funny, I read it without even my first sip of coffee and I was able to see the question in there

I guess WoWGeneral really is an epidemic.

Anyway, I currently box 5 and I don't use them. I'm generally more of the school that if I don't need it, I don't add it. From my understanding, Hotstrings are just a means of calling Keymaps? Where are you getting stuck and what are you trying to get out of using keymaps and hotstrings?

Mayhap negative nancies could l2read before sniping and not providing a worthwhile contribution to the thread?

If you bought keyclone, I'm pretty sure the author can point you to more resources and examples for that setup. ;)

The New Multi-Boxers & Support (http://www.dual-boxing.com/forumdisplay.php?f=15) is flame free. Anything outside of this section is fair game for reasonable kindling.
