/target [target=toon, exists, nodead] [target=toon, exists, nodead] [target=toon, exists, nodead] [target=toon, exists, nodead] [target=toon, exists, nodead]
/assist target

So if I used this on a /click basically the first toon from above should be my tank and if he exists and is not dead then everyone will target what he is targeting?

Currently I am using /assist <name of toon>

The problem I have noticed is this.

After a fear bomb /assist no longer works I have to change targets for /assist to work again. This is a pain in the button considering I have to use a focus gem in order to turn all my guys. Since /assist stops working after a fear bomb the gem does not work either so they are often facing the wrong direction.

On the last mob in the old kingdom each person is put into a bubble and if you are using /assist it will actually assist your tank in his bubble which does now allow your guys to fight the mobs in their bubble.

Will the above macro address these problems?

Fur that is pretty awesome.

So it seems to be an advanced /assist but the question still remains.

Does this work after a fear bomb?

Will this work on the final boss mob fight in the Old Kingdom?

I am not farming Old Kingdom I just want to clear all the dungeons at some point on heroic mode.

/clearfocus
/focus [target=toon1, exists, nodead][target=toon2, exists, nodead][target=toon3, exists, nodead][target=toon4, exists, nodead][target=toon5, exists, nodead]

Ok so this macro sets the focus to toon1, toon2 etc etc

So what does setting focus do?

Probably a better question is how does this help?

Do you /assist or /follow after you set focus so with this macro if your team gets split up they can follow or assist eachother? Or if someone dies they will just start assisting off toon2 etc?

quick way to set focus when used with the boxing macro so hit 2 keys and you are set.
From Macros for Beginners Sticky

****** This is what I call the "Big Button". I hit this a lot:

/target focus
/follow
/assist
/stopcasting

As you can see, this macro targets your focus, follows him, assists him, and then does a stopcast. I hit this ALL the time to make sure my guys are following, assisting (latency sometimes screws up assisting if you just use it in conjunction with your spell you are casting), or if I want the group to stop casting.
