I'm sure this has been mentioned before, so this is mostly a note to self:

Phase 1:

Pretty straight-forward...

Phase 2:

Keep slaves spread out to reduce AOE damage. Kill the ghouls before you kill BK.

Phase 3:

Have both shadow resistance AND frost resistance.

Ghost BK's damage type is shadowfrost. This does NOT mean 50/50 damage shadow/frost, but rather it takes whichever is lower of your shadow res or frost res as your effective resistance.

Even if you have 300 shadow res, if your frost res is 0, you do not resist AT ALL.

I only had to heal once through phase 3 with both shadow 130 and frost res 130.

Phase 3 is even easier when you group up on him! The further away your toons are, the more damage they take. Group up and hes easy sauce!

Really? I wasn't aware Death's Bite was range dependent. Seems like it's a straight up ~3000 shadowfrost damage.

Thanks. I had no idea it was frost based as well. Although, if I manage to live past phase 2 I usually can win - although, often with just 1-2 guys left:P. So the frost resist should come in handy!

I have not yet been successful at killing the ghouls in phase 2 yet. I think next time I do normal I will try it and see how I do. I pretty much suck at getting aggro. I might as well be playing without hands.

I still seem to take absurd amounts of damage during phase 3 with a frost resist totem (always in my rotation) and shadow resist aura. Phase 3 seems to depend on my success in phase 2 (no dead shaman, not oom)

Wow thanks man!
edit: phase 3 was never really a problem for me, as long as my all my shaman made it and were not close to dead I could kill him. Phase 2 I shifted to making sure I kill all the ghouls instead of strafing my guys away as they blew up. That tactic alone has made phase 2 transition a lot easier.

I leave my shammies spread out and backed up against the wall, so the ghouls will be in front of them no matter what.

You don't actually need aggro to kill the ghouls as long as the shamans target them and dps them down one by one.
I save my taunts for when one shammy gets 2-3 ghouls swarming over them.

Also, if you use totems, the ghouls will randomly target them as well, so remember to replant them after you kill the ghouls and before you kill BK.

Anyone else notice that pallies cant AE stun these guys anymore? That or I am seeing things for the last few days. AE stun made it easier, but I can manage.

They were stunnable at one time, dont know when they nerfed it but I am damn sure that I have done it before. Was nice to see them all stop beating on my tank so I could control the encounter a little more.
