First Heroic :)

Final shaman dinged 80 yesterday so took them for their first heroic today...HoL was both dailies so decided to give it a go. Third boss is a right pain in the ass but I worked out a reasonable strat in the end running them round in circles and got him down with only 2 deaths...but after about 6 wipes! Other 3 bosses were 1 shots and got Shatter Resistant and Timely Death too! :)

If you're interested, there's a strategy floating around on these forums for the 3rd boss. It basically involves spreading out then letting a nature resist and some healing stream totems help you through the dispersion phase.

I'm sure your guild will be looking forward to the achivement spam they have coming ;)

Congratulations! And congratulations on making it through, that took me weeks.
I kicked and screamed and refused to change my ways until I'd had enough of not having "all alts heal person X" button. Now I have those set to numpad 1-5 and a self-chain-heal on numpad6. That fight has never caused problems since then.
Then the big boss? Loken? Man I beat him for the first time yesterday, and I've been doing this a while. It was just a matter of being able to withstand the novas. I'm glad to hear you got it on your first night, though.

Thanks guys! Yeah I have seen the strat about NR and healing stream - I did that on normal but found there was just too much damage on heroic. Running round is a pain but seemed to work easier.
